Material And Method: We present our personal findings on 117 patients admitted in the Ist Neurological Clinic, laşi with hemorrhagic stroke of the thalamus.
Results: Transcortical aphasia for the left-sided strokes and anosognosia or hemi-neglect were among the most prominent clinical features, especially for large thalamic hemorrhage.

The aim of the neurosurgical treatment in neuro-oncology is multiple: diagnostic (obtaining of a precise histopathological diagnosis to improve the treatment and the further prognosis), symptomatic (the improvement of the neurological clinical features by decreasing intracranial pressure) and therapeutic (to obtain a cytoreductive treatment, by complete or partial exeresis of the tumoural mass). To establish a precise histopathological diagnosis, during the intervention and latter, on the paraffin sections, the neuropathologist must examine the neurosurgical drawings knowing the history of the illness, the clinical and radiological aspects of the case in study, which complains a good cooperation between neurosurgeon and neuropathologist. To initiate the procedures of histopathological processing of various neurosurgical drawings, the neuropathologist must understand very well the surgical procedure.

The paper presents the results in surgical treatment of open angle glaucoma with a removable suture trabeculectomy technique. 25 eyes of 19 patients with different stages of open angle glaucoma were operated; 7 eyes had pseudoexfoliation glaucoma. The results obtained on this patients were compared to those obtained on the patients operated with classical trabeculectomy.

Four cases of Recklinghausen disease are presented with different clinical manifestations. The diagnosis in each case was established on NIH Consensus Statement criteria. The last case is a controversial one concerning the type of neurofibromatosis.

The survey has been done during 3 years on 27 children, divided in 2 groups: the former was the group of the prematures with retinal fold present in retrolental fibroplasia, and the later was the group of children with congenital retinal fold, but born at time.
