British Society for Sexual Medicine (BSSM) Position statement on Premature Ejaculation.

To provide an evidence based consensus on the diagnosis and management of premature ejaculation (PE). The British Society for Sexual Medicine (BSSM) takes issue with the advice to use off label treatments, such as daily selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors treatment, favoring on-demand dapoxetine. There is increasing evidence for the use of PDE5 inhibitors which are superior to a placebo for the treatment of PE.

Validation of an extended total joint replacement (eTJR) classification system for the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).

The aim of this paper was to validate a previously described classification system for extended total joint replacements (eTJRs) of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ). We engaged an expert panel to review 60 TMJ eTJR devices and classify them using the system, examining their responses for inter-rater agreement and concordance with the correct response as determined by the authors. Testosterone and the Heart.

The development of a subnormal level of testosterone (T) is not universal in ageing men, with 75% of men retaining normal levels. However, a substantial number of men do develop T deficiency (TD), with many of them carrying a portfolio of cardiovascular (CV) risk factors, including type 2 diabetes (T2D) and the metabolic syndrome.
