Purpose: Tibial valgus osteotomy has shown to be a successful and cost-effective procedure. The advent of image processing and three-dimensional (3D) printing is an interesting tool for achieving more accurate and reproducible results. The aim of our study was to compare the accuracy of the conventional technique and the use of customized guides in the correction of tibial deformities in tibial varus patients, the surgical and clinical benefits, and the impact of treatment in the outpatient setting.

Background: Although post-transplant diabetes mellitus (PTDM) is a common complication after kidney transplantation, there are few data on prevention, optimal screening, and treatment strategies.

Methods: The European Renal Association's DESCARTES working group distributed a web-based survey to European transplant centres to gather information on risk assessment, screening procedures, and management practices for preventing and treating PTDM in kidney transplant recipients.

Results: Answers were obtained from 121/241 transplant centres (50%) across 15 European countries.

This investigation aimed to evaluate the impact of a dietary supplement containing collagen peptides (MW 1-3 kDa) on knee OA symptoms and inflammatory biomarkers such as C-reactive protein (CRP) and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR). Adults aged 30-81 years (50 % female) with grade II or III OA and a minimum pain score of 40 on the 0 to 100 visual analogue scale (VAS) were enrolled.
