Isotope effects in Eley-Rideal abstraction of hydrogen from tungsten surfaces: the role of dissipation.

Molecular dynamics simulations are performed to investigate the influence of isotope substitutions on the Eley-Rideal recombination dynamics of hydrogen isotopes from the (100) and (110) surfaces of tungsten. Dissipation of electrons and phonons is taken into account by, respectively, the local density friction approximation and the general Langevin oscillator, effective models which have been intensively used in recent years. As the coupling to surface phonons and electrons might be altered by the mass combination, the main objective of the paper is to assess the role of dissipation to the surface in the course of abstraction.

In this work, the synthesis of an -monoarylated dihydrophenazine is reported together with its interconversion to its oxidized mono-cationic form. While the reduced state was employed for the dechlorination of aromatic substrates, the oxidized mono-cationic one was exploited for the formation of C-N bonds between aryl rings and azoles, which was achieved with high yields and very low catalyst loadings (down to 0.5 mol%).

In this work, we investigate the development of polymer electrolytes for sodium batteries based on sulfonamide functional polymer nanoparticles (NaNPs). The synthesis of the polymer NaNPs is carried out by emulsion copolymerization of methyl methacrylate and sodium sulfonamide methacrylate in the presence of a crosslinker, resulting in particle sizes of 50 nm, as shown by electron microscopy. Then, gel polymer electrolytes are prepared by mixing polymer NPs and different organic plasticizers including carbonates, glymes, sulfolanes and ionic liquids.

We constructed an atlas of human brain immune cells by integrating nineteen single-nucleus RNA-seq and single-cell RNA-seq datasets from multiple neurodegenerative conditions, comprising 241 samples from patients with Alzheimer's disease, autism spectrum disorder, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Lewy body diseases, COVID-19, and healthy controls. While studies have explored the incidence and prevalence of PSS, little is known about how early PSS develops and how many stroke survivors develop 'problematic' PSS that would benefit from pharmacological treatment.

Methods And Analysis: EPITOME is a prospective, international, observational, epidemiological study of participants (aged 18-90 years) who develop paresis within days 3-14 of a first-ever stroke that occurred within the past 4 weeks.

This living systematic review aims to inform international clinical guidelines on inflammatory arthritis by creating an evidence map of patient preference studies concerning the trade-offs in pharmacological management of inflammatory arthritis.

Methods And Analysis: We will include published and peer-reviewed full-text studies in any language that quantitatively assess preferences of patients for the pharmacological management of inflammatory arthritis (rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthritis and juvenile idiopathic arthritis).

We present a pooled analysis from multiple cohorts of the phase 1/2 trial of patients with R/R AML who received combination olutasidenib and azacitidine therapy.

Methods: Adult patients with mIDH1 AML received 150 mg olutasidenib twice daily plus standard-of-care azacitidine (OLU + AZA) and were evaluated for response and safety.
