Background: Investigate the link between systemic immune-inflammatory index (SII) and Systemic Immune Response Index (SIRI) with osteoarthritis (OA) using National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) data (1999-2018).
Methods: Extracted NHANES data (1999-2018) and selected a study population based on demographic, examination, and laboratory data. Calculated SII (platelet count × neutrophil count/lymphocyte count) and SIRI (neutrophil count × monocyte count/lymphocyte count).

Metastasis as the hallmark of cancer preferentially contributes to tumor recurrence and therapy resistance, aggrandizing the lethality of patients with cancer. Despite their robust suppressions of tumor progression, chemotherapeutics failed to attenuate cancer cell migration and even triggered pro-metastatic effects. The Daguangbao landslide (DGBL), triggered by the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake, is a rare instance of super-giant landslides globally. The post-earthquake evolution of the DGBL has garnered significant attention in recent years; however, its deformation patterns remain poorly characterized owing to the complex local topography. In this study, we present the first observations of the surface dynamics of DGBL by integrating satellite- and ground-based InSAR data complemented by kinematic interpretation using a LiDAR-derived Digital Surface Model (DSM).

Defects can be introduced into shotcrete materials after a few freeze-thaw cycles, which has a significant influence on the fracture performance of shotcrete. In this study, a series of shotcrete specimens with varying sizes, geometries, and initial crack lengths were prepared to investigate the fracture properties of notched shotcrete under freeze-thaw conditions. Considering the effects of specimen boundaries and material microstructure, a linear closed-form solution was proposed to determine the fracture toughness of frost-damaged shotcrete.

Chemical weathering of lithologies with high geochemical backgrounds such as black shale has been proposed to be a critical source for toxic elements in soil and water systems. Modification of polylactic acid (PLA) is a promising strategy for the next generation of bioresorbable vascular stent biomaterials. With this focus, FeMOFs nanoparticles was incorporated in PLA, and then post loading of carbon monoxide (CO) was performed by pressurization. Point cloud registration is pivotal across various applications, yet traditional methods rely on unordered point clouds, leading to significant challenges in terms of computational complexity and feature richness. These methods often use k-nearest neighbors (KNN) or neighborhood ball queries to access local neighborhood information, which is not only computationally intensive but also confines the analysis within the object's boundary, making it difficult to determine if points are precisely on the boundary using local features alone. Tan Delta reflects the viscoelastic behavior of materials, particularly polymers. In most cases, a high Tan Delta value is associated with transitions (such as glass transition or melting), enabling effective damping properties near these temperature ranges. Diffusion bonding with an interlayer is considered an effective means of obtaining Mg/Al dissimilar alloy joints. However, at low temperatures, it is often impossible to simultaneously achieve joints between the interlayer and Mg/Al under the same bonding parameters.
