Methods: This retrospective observational study compared 246 Anti-Amyloid Treatment in Asymptomatic AD study (A4) individuals who met elevated brain amyloid eligibility criteria to 121 individuals in the companion Longitudinal Evaluation of Amyloid Risk and Neurodegeneration study (LEARN) who were eligible for A4 except did not meet elevated amyloid eligibility criteria. Matched-controls for A4/LEARN, using a 3:1 match of demographics, Medicare enrollment month, and frailty status, were randomly selected from Medicare beneficiaries without cognitive impairment/dementia claims.

Cyclin D3 (CCND3), a member of the cyclin D family, is known to promote cell cycle transition. In this study, we found that CCND3 was downregulated in cisplatin-resistant (-diamminedichloroplatinum, DDP) lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) cells. The loss of CCND3 indeed impeded cell cycle transition.

A Novel Oncolytic Virus Formulation Based on Mesenchymal Stem Cell-Derived Vesicles for Tumor Therapy.

Developing new drug delivery systems is crucial for enhancing the efficacy of oncolytic virus (OV) therapies in cancer treatment. Prevention and Management of Infectious Complications in Pediatric Patients With Cancer: A Survey Assessment of Current Practices Across Children's Oncology Group Institutions.

Introduction: While clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) for pediatric oncology infection prophylaxis and management exist, few data describe actual management occurring at pediatric oncology centers.

Methods: An electronic survey querying infection management practices in nontransplant pediatric oncology patients was iteratively created by the Children's Oncology Group (COG) Cancer Control and Supportive Care Infectious Diseases Subcommittee and sent to leaders at all COG institutions, limiting each site to one response to represent their institution.

Results: The response rate was 57% (129/227 institutions).

Background: Heterogeneous results are to be expected when multiple raters diagnose whether the dentine of a tooth with erosive tooth wear (ETW) is exposed or not. Objective: This study aimed to investigate the relationship between the unique weather change and acute ischemic stroke (AIS) in the southern Zhejiang Province of China and to provide evidence for better predicting and preventing stroke.

Methods: We retrospectively collected 14,996 ischemic stroke patients data and weather data from January 2019 to December 2021 in the southern Zhejiang Province of China. The correlation and risk between meteorological factors and the number of AIS daily cases were calculated.
