Chronic lymphoproliferative disorder of natural killer cells (CLPDNK) is a rare heterogenous indolent disorder comprising a persistent peripheral blood cell count of more than ≥2 × 10/L natural killer cells for over 6 months. We report an unusual case of cutaneous neural infiltration as a manifestation of CLPDNK. A 52-year-old woman with a background of CLPDNK was referred to dermatology with a painful rash primarily affecting her back.

Background: The growth of interventional pain medicine in recent years has resulted in more procedures being carried out under fluoroscopic guidance. The proximity of the pain physician (PP) to ionization radiation (IR) potentially increases the risk of radiation exposure to the ocular region. A European directive has reduced the limits of occupational ocular dose 7.

Background: The optimal treatment for oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) is controversial. There is increasing evidence that, in selected cases, minimally invasive transoral surgery can offer improved functional outcomes, with equivalent oncologic outcomes, compared to chemoradiotherapy.
Aims: We report the outcomes of transoral laser microsurgery (TLM) for treatment of OPSCC at our institution.

Background: Obesity during pregnancy is associated with increased risk of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) and other complications. Physical activity is a modifiable lifestyle factor that may help to prevent these complications but many women reduce their physical activity levels during pregnancy. Interventions targeting physical activity in pregnancy are on-going but few identify the underlying behaviour change mechanisms by which the intervention is expected to work.

Background: Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), a chronic inflammatory disease that affects apocrine gland-bearing skin, has a significant impact on patients' quality of life. Estimates of the epidemiologic prevalence of HS are highly variable, and clinical data on disease characteristics and patient burden of disease remain limited.
Objective: The primary objective of this study was to determine the number of patients with HS attending dermatology clinics in a hospital setting in Ireland (within a 6-month time period).

Background: Currently, positive surgical margins in head and neck cancer are considered to be an indicator for postoperative chemoradiotherapy (CRT) over radiotherapy (RT) alone. However, there are less data regarding the impact of margin status on human papillomavirus (HPV)-related oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (SCC).
Methods: We performed a retrospective review of 55 patients with oropharyngeal SCC undergoing primary surgical treatment.
