Objective: The aim of this study was to explore the impact of normoxic and hypoxic cell-culture conditions on the expression and secretion of adipose mesenchymal stem cells (ADMSCs)-derived paracrine molecules, and to evaluate the cardioprotective role of hypoxic condition medium (hypoCM) in vivo.

Materials And Methods: Semi-quantitative reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) analyses of normoxic and hypoxic ADMSCs and their conditioned medium fractions. Then, the effect of hypoCM on cardiomyocytes proliferation and migration was assessed.

The high-mobility group nucleosome-binding protein-5 (HMGN5) is frequently overexpressed in various malignant cancers. However, the potential correlation between HMGN5 and prognosis in patients with meningiomas remains unknown. In the present study, we explored the expression of HMGN5 in meningiomas with immunohistochemistry and correlated the results to the patient outcome.

Objective: To determine the best shear wave elastography (SWE) quantitative parameters including the maximum elasticity (Emax), mean elasticity(Emean), minimum elasticity, standard deviation and ratio of Emean (Eratio) in assessing benign and malignant breast lesions.

Methods: Totally 302 breast lesions underwent conventional ultrasound and SWE. Each lesion was classified according to ultrasound Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System (BI-RADS).

Objective: To investigate the protective effects of hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) on hypoxic human pulmonary microvascular endothelial cells (HPMECs).

Methods: HPMECs were cultured in vitro, and the hypoxic model was established by the physical method. Cells were divided into 4 groups: the control group, the hypoxic group, HGF group, and phytohemagglutinin (PHA) group.

On the basis of the recently recognized potential of bone marrow stem cells to give rise to hepatocytes, we here investigated the role of G-CSF priming PBMCs played in the liver of cirrhotic rats. The animal model of liver cirrhosis was induced by injecting CCl4 in SD rats, and G-CSF was administered in hematopoietic stem cell mobilization doses. After the liver cirrhosis model was established, the female cirrhotic rats were divided into two groups.
