Can narcissism help foster resiliency against adversity? In this study, we used Turkish panel data, to examine whether narcissism can buffer the negative impact of personal loss on change in subjective well-being in the wake of the Türkiye-Syria earthquakes of 2023. Results show that the adaptation to personal loss was stronger for individuals high on narcissism. At the same time, we found no evidence that individuals high on Machiavellianism or psychopathy - other Dark Triad traits - were better able to adapt to personal loss.

Purpose: The primary purpose was to assess the feasibility and acceptability of a group health coaching (GHC) program with cancer patients and survivors; secondarily, to determine the preliminary effects of GHC on several behavioral lifestyle factors.

The formation of cocrystal (I) and salts (II) and (III) was confirmed through the widening of the C-N-C bond angle of the triazine moiety of 2,4-diamino-6-phenyl-1,3,5-triazine and the difference in the C-O bond distances between the carboxyl and carboxylate groups of the respective carboxylic acids. Cocrystal (I) and salt (II) form robust homomeric and heteromeric R(8) ring motifs through primary acid-base interactions and complementary base pairing.

Globalization has led to a significant increase in the establishment of forest plantations with exotic species and to the accidental introduction of forest insects worldwide. Cumulatively, these factors contribute to the increased occurrence of novel associations between phytophagous insects and trees, leading to new interactions between species that have not historically co-occurred. Here, we reviewed the patterns of novel associations between herbivorous insects and pines and eucalypts at a global scale and identified factors that could favor the occurrence of novel associations and their impacts on forestry.

However, users may have different needs for accessing and understanding them. Patients and carers from low- and middle-income countries might face challenges in accessing CPGs such as inadequate systems for printed book distribution and insufficient and substandard photocopies.

Aim: Preeclampsia (PE) is a severe pregnancy-related disorder characterized by hypertension and multi-organ failure, primarily affecting the maternal vasculature and placenta. Background: Transmission-based precautions (TBP) and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are essential in preventing hospital-acquired infections (HAIs) and in controlling the emergence and spread of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). This study, therefore, aimed to determine healthcare providers' compliance with TBP and its determinants in healthcare settings to help curb the burden of HAIs and AMR.

The complete genome sequence of fig leaf mottle-associated virus 2 (FLMaV2), a positive-sense single-stranded RNA virus with a genome length of 16,925 nucleotides, was determined via RT-PCR and rapid amplification of cDNA ends (RACE). Its genome organization resembles those of little cherry virus 2 (LChV2) and yam asymptomatic virus 1 (YaV1), both of which are currently classified as members of the genus Ampelovirus but differ from typical ampeloviruses. Phylogenetic analysis based on amino acid sequences of the RNA-dependent RNA polymerase and coat protein of members of the family Closteroviridae showed that FLMaV2 clustered with LChV2 and YaV1.
