Objective: The aim of this study was to examine the factors that influence pregnancy termination due to fetal anomalies, regardless of gestational age, within the legal framework of Turkey.
Methods: This retrospective study was conducted between January 2021 and July 2023 at a tertiary perinatology center to analyze patients undergoing pregnancy termination. The process involved multidisciplinary evaluations and informed consent, resulting in 326 pregnancy terminations, categorized by gestational timing.

Patients were evaluated with the migraine data form, the Migraine 24-Hour Quality of Life Questionnaire (24-HrMQoLQ), the Migraine Disability Assessment Scale (MIDAS), the Patient Health Questionnaire-9 (PHQ-9), the Insomnia Severity Index (ISI), the Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7), the Allodynia Symptom Checklist (ASC), and the Fatigue Severity Scale (FSS).

Objective: The aim of the present study was to determine the effects of a well-controlled endurance training program on cardiac functions and structures in healthy children and to define whether training hours per week and type of sports affect the training-induced cardiovascular response.
Methods: Echocardiographic recordings were obtained in 126 children who systematically participated in sports training for at least 1 year (study group), and the results were compared with the values obtained in 62 normal children who did not actively engage in any sports activity (control group). The two groups were comparable for age, sex, and body mass index.

Purpose: To evaluate the prevalence, clinical characteristics, and types of optic nerve involvement in patients with ocular toxoplasmosis.
Methods: For this retrospective cross-sectional study, we examined all patients with active ocular toxoplasmosis referred to our Uveitis Section during the last 12 years, and we included patients with optic nerve involvement in the study. The primary outcome was the prevalence of optic nerve involvement, and secondary outcomes included the types of optic nerve involvement and the final best-corrected visual acuity after treatment.

Objective: To evaluate the posterior semicircular canal (PSCC) functions using video head impulse test (vHIT) during canalith repositioning maneuver (CRM) treatment in patients with isolated, posterior semicircular canal benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (PSCC-BPPV).
Methods: A total of 44 subjects comprising of 24 subjects with isolated PSCC-BPPV and 20 age- and sex-matched healthy control subjects were enrolled in the present study. vHIT was performed for the affected PSCC before and just after CRM and at the third and seventh day and first month to evaluate vestibulo-ocular reflex (VOR) gain, gain asymmetry (GA), and corrective saccades.

Methods: This prospective study included 38 phakic eyes of 38 patients with primary open-angle glaucoma who underwent trabeculectomy. Anterior chamber angle (ACA), anterior chamber depth (ACD), anterior chamber volume (ACV), and central corneal thickness (CCT) of the eyes were measured by performing Scheimpflug imaging in preoperative (baseline) and postoperative periods (1st week and 1st, 3rd, and 6th months after the surgery).

Purpose: This study evaluated the effect of intravitreal dexamethasone implant (IDI; Ozurdex) injection for treating macular edema in patients with branch retinal vein occlusion (BRVO) or central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO).
Methods: This prospective study included 40 eyes of 40 patients with nonischemic BRVO and 31 eyes of 31 patients with nonischemic CRVO who received IDI injection as the first-line treatment for macular edema. The best-corrected visual acuity (BCVA) value before and after the treatment; intraocular pressure; optic coherence tomography findings; and all ocular examination findings, including central foveal thickness (CFT) measurement and fluorescein angiography findings, were evaluated for each patient.

Objectives: To evaluate ocular surface health in obstructive sleep apnea syndrome (OSAS) and to investigate the tendency of these patients toward dry eyes.
Materials And Methods: Fifty patients who underwent polysomnography and were diagnosed with OSAS and 50 normal control subjects were compared with respect to ocular surface disease index (OSDI), Schirmer I test and tear film break-up time (TBUT) values.
Results: Patients were grouped as mild (n=15, 30%), moderate (n=15, 30%) and severe (n=20, 40%) according to apnea-hypopnea index values.
