To illuminate adolescents' experiences of Help Overcoming Pain Early (HOPE), a person-centred intervention delivered in a school setting by school nurses. Twenty-one adolescents with chronic pain recruited from secondary school, who had completed the HOPE intervention, were included in the interview study. The HOPE intervention was built on person-centred ethics and consisted of four meetings between school nurses and adolescents on the subject of stress and pain management.

The purpose was to adapt the "Bergen 4-Day Treatment" for severe social anxiety disorder and to study the 28 months follow-up effects for a 16-year-old girl. It was delivered over three full days. At post-treatment, 48% reduction in symptoms, she no longer met the diagnostic criteria for SAD.

Objectives: Previous studies have shown that hot saline solution (HSS) nasal irrigation is effective against nasal bleeding and is used to treat nasal hemorrhage. In a pilot study, we evaluated hot saline nasal irrigation in comparison to a routinely used nasal packing in terms of self-reported complications and mucosal healing after functional endoscopic sinus surgery.

Methods: Patients undergoing surgery for bilateral chronic rhinosinusitis received polyvinyl acetate (PVA) nasal packing in the left nostril, and the right nostril was rinsed with 47°C sterile saline immediately after surgery.

Aims: To investigate fear of hypoglycaemia (FoH) longitudinally in a cross-sectional study of adult patients with type 1 diabetes. Specifically, we investigated two subgroups of patients who over 4 years either showed a substantial increase or decrease in level of FoH to identify factors associated with changes in FoH.

Methods: The Swedish version of the Hypoglycaemia Fear Survey (HFS) along with a questionnaire to assess hypoglycaemia history was sent by mail to 764 patients in 2010.
