The increasingly concerning issue of water pollution caused by untreated leachate necessitates the implementation of effective wastewater treatment methods. This study addresses the crucial issue of landfill leachate treatment through an innovative and environmentally friendly approach that integrates electrolysis with palm-shell activated carbon contactors. The efficacy of an integrated process for pollutants removal was assessed involving electrolysis with aluminum and iron electrodes, activated carbon contactors with varying bed depths, and the influence of salinity.

Purely cotton fabric lacks different functional and physical properties than cotton-flax blends fabric. The experimental part of the present study is to investigate the influence of flax fibres content in cotton-flax blended yarn quality. Five ring yarn samples of the same count, 16/1Ne but from different blend ratios (100C, 80C:20F, 70C:30F, 45C:55F, and 100F) were produced from the same spinning preparatory conditions.

In this theoretical work nonlinear behavior of dust ion acoustic solitary waves (SWs) has been investigated, and then the effect of the adiabatic change on them has been observed. The complex plasma system consists of inertial positive and negative ions, Maxwell's electrons, and positively and negatively charged stationary dust particles. The effects of dust polarity on the dust ion acoustic SWs have also been observed.
