Study Objectives: Intra-oral negative pressure therapy (OPT) for obstructive apnea delivers a negative pressure into the oral cavity to increase the upper airway patency and has been shown as an effective CPAP alternative treatment. Rather than one-size-fits-all pressure, it is believed that individualized titration of the negative pressure is needed to achieve the optimal treatment effectiveness. This study aims to evaluate the outcome of OPT after the pressure titration process.

Parkinson's disease (PD) is the main neurodegenerative disorder affecting motor activity, there are different pathophysiological pathways contributing to its development including oxidative stress, neuroinflammation, Lewy's bodies accumulation, and impaired autophagy. Vinpocetine is an herbal extract with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities that may counteract pathophysiologic neurodegeneration pathways. Moreover, Lactobacillus is a probiotic that can modulate the gut-brain axis and provide the body with the needed precursors of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory mediators.

Cystic fibrosis (CF) treatment has revolutionised care over the past three decades with major advances in survival. Despite these advances, CF continues to create psychological and social challenges for people with CF (PWCF) throughout their life and is associated with worse health outcomes and higher healthcare costs. Anxiety and depression screening and management protocols are widely implemented within CF care; however, a much broader scope of psychosocial challenges exist which lack a standardised screening and management approach.

Although melatonin is widely used globally for the management of insomnia in children and adolescents, there are few clinical guidelines available for healthcare practitioners, particularly in typically developing (TD) children. Because existing data are either sparse or inconclusive, a task force comprised of pediatric sleep researchers and clinicians was established by the International Pediatric Sleep Association (IPSA) to first examine the available literature and to then develop a set of evidence-based (when possible) and consensus-based recommendations to guide practitioners in decision-making regarding melatonin use in pediatric insomnia. The following recommendations regarding appropriate indications for melatonin in children, considerations regarding timing and dosage, safety issues and caveats in recommending use of melatonin in pediatric clinical settings, are presented as a companion to a Technical Report summarizing the available literature.

Sleep disturbance is bidirectionally associated with increased risks of Alzheimer's disease and other tauopathies. While the sleep-wake cycle regulates interstitial and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) tau levels, the underlying mechanisms remain unknown. Understanding these mechanisms is crucial given evidence indicates that tau pathology spreads through neuron-to-neuron transfer, involving the secretion and internalization of pathological tau forms.

Aging is associated with disrupted sleep patterns, such as fragmented sleep and reduced efficiency, leading to negative health outcomes. There is evidence of a bidirectional relationship between sleep and gut microbiota, which plays a key role in the gut-brain axis and overall health. However, studies on this relationship in older adults have limited generalizability and show conflicting results, highlighting the need for further research.
