Arterial hypertension (AH) is a burning problem in the world. Antihypertensive pharmacological therapy combined by physical exercises is well-studied in patients with mild and moderate AH. However, studies that have investigated relaxation in patients with severe AH in addition to drug therapy are lacking.

Herpesvirus infection has a variety of clinical forms and is extremely widespread in the world while existing treatment methods are not always quite effective. The search for new treatment modalities is a relevant problem and numerous studies show the therapeutic effect of low-level laser therapy (LLLT) on different herpesvirus types. The mechanisms of laser light action and the impact of LLLT on the pathological pathways of herpes infections are described.

Bronchial asthma is an autoimmune disease, one of the most common and practically non-treatable by standard methods. At present, the used drugs only maintain a state of temporary remission, simultaneously having a negative effect on various organs and structures and causing side effects. At the same time, the experts have ignored more than 50 years of successful experience of low-level laser therapy, the results of hundreds of studies proving the effectiveness of the method in treating patients with all forms of bronchial asthma.

High-grade gliomas have a diffuse and infiltrative nature of the growth of tumor cells, due to which the achievement of radical resection is difficult. Surgical resection completeness of brain tumors is an important factor in prolonging the life of patients. An accurate definition of tumor boundaries and residual fluorescent regions is impossible due to imperfections of the equipment used for fluorescent imaging.

Objectives: The aim of the article is to justify the application of low-level laser therapy (LLLT) to prevent the development of endothelial dysfunction in COVID-19 patients. The results of treating and rehabilitating patients with COVID-19 and prevention of the disease using low-level laser therapy (LLLT) are evaluated.

Methods: A literature review is conducted on mechanisms of vascular homeostasis regulation, biomodulating effect of laser light, and LLLT methods for preventing endothelial dysfunction.

Laser acupuncture is one of the low-level laser therapy (LLLT) methods, replacing the traditional technique of Chinese needle acupuncture. This article describes the main principles and parameters of laser acupuncture based on the analysis of 35 years of successful experience in applying the method in Russia. The search of the literature on laser acupuncture was made in the Russian Medical Library and the Russian State Library (1498 publications in Russian), and PubMed/Medline (117 publications in English).

Unlabelled: The search for new methods of symptomatic therapy of dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) remains a relevant objective of modern cardiology. This is due to the low and short-term existing methods effectiveness of conservative and surgical treatment, including drug therapy.

Purpose Of The Study: Efficacy evaluation of the combined use of kinesio- and laser therapy for the correction of regional hemodynamics in patients with DCM against the background of maintenance drug therapy.

Fibrillarin (FBL) is an essential nucleolar protein that participates in pre-rRNA methylation and processing. The methyltransferase domain of FBL is an example of an extremely well-conserved protein domain in which the amino acid sequence was not substantially modified during the evolution from to . An additional N-terminal glycine-arginine-rich (GAR) domain is present in the FBL of eukaryotes.

Background: The origin of the selective nuclear protein import machinery, which consists of nuclear pore complexes and adaptor molecules interacting with the nuclear localization signals (NLSs) of cargo molecules, is one of the most important events in the evolution of eukaryotic cells. How proteins were selected for import into the forming nucleus remains an open question.

Results: Here, we demonstrate that functional NLSs may be integrated in the nucleotide-binding domains of both eukaryotic and prokaryotic proteins and may coevolve with these domains.

The nuclear accumulation of proteins may depend on the presence of short targeting sequences, which are known as nuclear localization signals (NLSs). Here, we found that NLSs are predicted in some cytosolic proteins and examined the hypothesis that these NLSs may be functional under certain conditions. As a model, human cardiac troponin I (hcTnI) was used.

The management of pain - despite many anaesthetic drugs - remains to be an urgent task. If the goal is to achieve permanent pain relief - and not to temporarily mask the pain (masking pathology) - then this goal can only be achieved by treating pain with physiotherapeutic methods, the most universal and effective of which, is low level laser therapy (LLLT). The treatment methods vary fundamentally in the case of neuropathic (nonspecific, primary) pain, which includes pain with the localization of the trigger points (TP) and nociceptive (specific, secondary), which includes all types of pain resulting from trauma, inflammation, etc.

Objective: The article describes the experience of clinical application of low level laser therapy in pediatric oncology for the prevention and treatment of chemotherapy complications such as oral mucositis.

Background: For this purpose, for the first time in the world non-invasive laser blood illumination is used on the sinocarotid zone (on the projection of the common carotid artery symmetrically) and popliteal fossa in order to stimulate the phagocytic activity of leukocytes.

Methods: 25 children with different oncological diseases were given non-invasive laser blood illumination treatment (904 nm, pulse mode, 100 ns, 50-150 Hz, 5-7 W, 4 cm, 1-2 minutes daily per each procedure) 1-3 days before the beginning of chemotherapy.

In half of the cases, the infertility of the couple is due to the disorder of the male fertility. The leading factors that cause male infertility are urogenital infections, disorders of the immune system, testicular and prostate pathology, as well as endocrine disorders. Low level laser therapy (LLLT) is a very effective physical therapy method, used in many areas of medicine, including obstetrics and gynaecology, andrology and urology; and it is recommended as an integral part of the complex treatment of infertility.
