Objective: This study investigated the clinical significance of coronary artery tortuosity (CAT) in chronic coronary syndrome (CCS) using Gensini scores.
Method: This retrospective single-center study involved 388 patients undergoing coronary angiography for chest pain, excluding those with acute coronary syndromes or prior coronary interventions. Demographic, clinical, and angiographic data were collected and categorized based on the presence or absence of CAT.

Aim: Although vitamin D deficiency in smokers has a greater risk of low birth weight than vitamin D deficiency or smoking alone, there is no study searching birth weight in vitamin D deficient passive smokers. We evaluated the effect of vitamin D deficiency on birth weight in active and passive smokers. Additionally, we aimed to determine the predictive role of vitamin D for low birth weight in smokers.

Objective: The study aimed to assess the level of knowledge of patients with cervical cancer referred to radiation oncology outpatient clinics in Turkey regarding screening methods and human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination and increase social awareness based on the findings.
Methods: A descriptive cross-sectional survey was conducted from January to June 2022 involving 300 patients in various regions. Data on demographics, cervical cancer screening and HPV vaccination knowledge, and recommendations to relatives were collected through a questionnaire-based interview.

With the dramatic increase in the number of elderly people in most parts of the world and in our country there will be an accompanying increase in patients with sinus node dysfunction (SND) and atrioventricular (AV) block. For this reason, it will be essential for health care personnel to have a basic knowledge of bradyarrhythmias and the special considerations required for managing these rhythms in elderly patients. Because of frailty of this patient group indivualised approach and consideration for management of these patients must be done carefully.
