Background: There are limited data on the outcome of transplant recipients with familial Mediterranean fever (FMF)-associated AA amyloidosis. The aim of the present study is to evaluate demographic, clinical, laboratory, and prognostic characteristics and outcome measures of these patients.

Methods: Eighty-one renal transplant recipients with FMF-associated AA amyloidosis (group 1) and propensity score-matched transplant recipients (group 2, n = 81) with nonamyloidosis etiologies were evaluated in this retrospective, multicenter study.

Aim: In this study, we aimed to measure interobserver and intraobserver agreement in Ga-68-prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) PET/computed tomography (CT) image interpretation. In addition, the limitations of these criteria and levels of personal confidence reported by the readers when reporting the findings were determined. The effects of interpersonal differences on clinical decisions were also investigated.

Introduction: Thrombotic microangiopathies are a group of diseases presenting as microangiopathic hemolytic anemia, thrombocytopenia and end-organ dysfunction. As the role of the complement system was elucidated in atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome pathogenesis, eculizumab was successfully introduced into clinical practice. We present a large pedigree with multiple individuals carrying a functionally significant novel factor H mutation.
