Background And Aims: The comparative efficacy of advanced therapies to improve health-related quality of life (HR-QoL) in Crohn's disease (CD) is unknown. We aimed to compare the impact of approved advanced therapies for moderate-to-severe CD on HR-QoL.

Methods: We searched MEDLINE, Embase, and Cochrane CENTRAL from inception to December 2023.

Testing for PD-L1 expression by immunohistochemistry (IHC) is used to predict immune checkpoint blockade (ICB) benefit but has performed inconsistently in urothelial cancer (UC) clinical trials. Different approaches are used for PD-L1 IHC. We analyzed paired PD-L1 IHC data on UC samples using the SP142 and 22C3 assays from the phase 3 IMvigor130 trial and found discordant findings summarized by four phenotypes: PD-L1 positive by both assays (PD-L1 double positive; PD-L1DP), PD-L1 positive by the SP142 assay only (SP142 single positive; SP142SP), PD-L1 positive by the 22C3 assay only (22C3 single positive; 22C3SP), and PD-L1 negative by both assays double negative (PD-L1 double negative; PD-L1DN).

Performance of Radiomics-based machine learning and deep learning-based methods in the prediction of tumor grade in meningioma: a systematic review and meta-analysis.

Currently, the World Health Organization (WHO) grade of meningiomas is determined based on the biopsy results. Therefore, accurate non-invasive preoperative grading could significantly improve treatment planning and patient outcomes. Considering recent advances in machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL), this meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the performance of these models in predicting the WHO meningioma grade using imaging data.

There is a significantly growing interest in diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals, and it is foreseeable that an unprecedented number of patients will need to be treated with new nuclear medicine therapies. Objective: To assess 30- and 90-day postoperative complication rates in patients who underwent robot-assisted radical cystectomy (RARC) after receiving novel immunotherapy-based neoadjuvant treatment.

Methods: A bi-centre analysis was conducted in patients who underwent RARC with intracorporeal urinary diversion and who received an immunotherapy-based neoadjuvant regimen between 2017 and 2023. Complications were classified using the Clavien-Dindo system.

Case report: Resolution of VIPoma-related symptoms with peptide receptor radionuclide therapy.

Peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT) is used for the management of neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) not responsive to somatostatin analogs. In this case series, we report two patients with pancreatic vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP)-secreting NETs (VIPomas) not responsive to any other therapies who achieved symptomatic control and a significant decrease in serum VIP levels with PRRT during their hospital stay. Two patients with VIPomas were admitted to the hospital with multiple prior hospital admissions after going through multiple lines of therapy.

Antibody-drug conjugates in urothelial carcinoma: current status and future.

Purpose Of Review: Antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) are quickly becoming frontline standard of care in many tumor types, including urothelial carcinoma. This review summarizes recent clinical investigations into the use of ADCs targeting nectin-4, trophoblast cell surface antigen-2 (Trop-2), human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER-2), and other antigens in urothelial carcinoma.

Recent Findings: This review covers efficacy and toxicity data of ADCs alone and in combination with immunotherapy; mechanisms of resistance; and preclinical studies that provide biological basis for clinical approaches.

Background: The care of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) requires special attention among immigrants due to different disease incidence, phenotype, and risk profiles. We aimed to highlight key themes among existing literature to inform equitable care in all immigrants living with IBD.

Methods: A systematic literature search was conducted in MEDLINE, EMBASE, the Cochrane library, Scopus, and ProQuest from inception to February 2023 to identify studies capturing the care of IBD among immigrants who moved from one country to another, irrespective of the timing of IBD diagnosis.
