Introduction: Uterine serous carcinoma accounts for only about 10% of all endometrial cancers but this subtype is the most common amongst non-endometrioid endometrium cancers and contributes to more than half of recurrence and deaths attributed to endometrial cancers. A more extensive surgical staging and adjuvant therapies for uterine serous carcinoma are recommended by many guidelines. However, guidelines vary on recommendations for the methods that should be used for omentum assessment in uterine serous carcinoma and the previously reported incidence of omental metastasis in uterine serous carcinoma had a wide range because of the heterogeneity among these studies.

Infertility rates for both females and males have increased continuously in recent years. Currently, effective treatments for male infertility with defined mechanisms or targets are still lacking. G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) are the largest class of drug targets, but their functions and the implications for the therapeutic development for male infertility largely remain elusive.

Published data on the association between the ESR1 polymorphisms and preeclampsia risk are controversial. A meta-analysis was performed to assess whether the polymorphisms of ESR1 are associated with preeclampsia risk.

Sarcomatoid carcinoma (SC) is a rare primary malignant tumor, which seldom occurs in the lung, let alone as synchronous primary lung sarcomatous carcinoma and lung squamous cell carcinoma. We present a case of a 65-year-old Chinese man with a three-month history of cough and expectoration. The diagnosis was a combination of poorly differentiated synchronous central type primary lung sarcomatous carcinoma and lung squamous cell carcinoma with approximately 50% proportion of each, and the TNM classification was pT2aN1M0, at least AJCC Stage IIA.

Rationale: Ovarian malignancy is associated with one of the highest rates of death among gynecological reproductive system malignancies. While progress has been made in surgical and postoperative adjuvant treatment approaches, the early atypical clinical manifestations, quick progression, and lack of the effective early screening means imply that the prognosis remains poor. Bilateral ovarian cancers are common, but different types of primary bilateral ovarian carcinomas are extremely rare.

Infantile hepatic hemangioendothelioma (IHH) is rare which can regress spontaneously. Arteriovenous shunts within hemangiomas, however, may result in pulmonary artery hypertension (PAH) and congestive heart failure (CHF).The authors report 2 young infants suffering from multifocal IHH associated with CHF were both treated with glucocorticoid and transcatheter arterial embolization (TAE), but had different outcomes.
