In various types of human cancer, FAT1 is one of the most commonly mutated genes, and is considered to be an emerging cancer biomarker and a potential target for novel therapies.

It is characterized by unique clinical features that set it apart from previously reported cases with mutations in the gene. Here, we report a female child with a diagnosis of ADHD and comorbidities.

Background: This study aims to delineate the global, regional, and national burden of malignant neoplasms of bone and articular cartilage (MNBAC) among individuals aged 65 years and older from 1990 to 2021, stratified by age, sex, and sociodemographic index (SDI).

Methods: We harnessed data from the Global Burden of Disease Study 2021 to evaluate the prevalence, incidence, mortality, and disability-adjusted life years (DALYs) associated with MNBAC among individuals aged 65 years and older across 204 countries and territories between 1990 and 2021. The socio-demographic Index (SDI) served as a metric to examine the influence of socioeconomic development on the burden of MNBAC.

In this paper, a microwave thermal imaging system (MTIS) has been presented for debonding detection of radar absorbing materials (RAMs). First, an overview of the mechanism underlying microwave heating and the fundamental principle of defect detection within RAMs is presented. Then, a multifunctional MTIS capable of performing both microwave lock-in thermography (MLIT) and long-pulse microwave thermography (LPMT) has been introduced, specifically tailored for the in situ inspection of RAMs.

The host-guest recognition system is incorporated into the core region of the 10-23 DNAzyme for precise regulation of its functionality. Biochemical experiments demonstrate reversible and orthogonal control of the DNAzyme function using cucurbit(7)uril and its competitive guests. Furthermore, cellular experiments indicate the gene expression can be effectively manipulated through this ligand-controllable DNAzyme.
