Background: Primary malignant melanoma of the ureter is extremely rare. Genetic variants to the increased risk of developing the disease have not yet been investigated.

Methods: Tumour mutation profiling for primary malignant melanoma of the ureter was performed by whole-exome sequencing.

Objective: To introduce a percutaneous transcalcaneal reconstruction technique for the treatment of acute Achilles tendon insertion avulsion, and to assess its short-term effectiveness.

Methods: Between January 2014 and June 2020, 25 patients with acute Achilles tendon insertion avulsion were treated with the percutaneous transcalcaneal reconstruction technique. There were 24 males and 1 female, with an average age of 44.

Methods: One hundred children with elbow varus causded by elbow joint injuries were retrospectively studied during January 2005 to April 2008 in department of child orthopedics involving 54 males and 46 females with an average age of 9.7 years old ranging from 7 to 16 years.

[Application of modified TransFix-II technique in arthroscopic reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament using double tibial tunnel].

Objective: To describe a modified TransFix- 11 technique for arthroscopic reconstruction of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) using double tibial tunnel.

Methods: Twelve cases of ACL ruptures were reconstructed anatomically using modified TransFix- 11 technique. The double-looped semitendinosus and gracilis (DLSTG) tendon autograft was placed in a single femoral tunnel and double tibial tunnels to replace the anteromedial (AM) and posterolateral (PL) bundles of the original ACL.
