Dynamic safety information modeling of underground cavern groups in the entire construction process.

Sci Rep

May 2024

Key Laboratory of Fluid and Power Machinery, Xihua University, Ministry of Education, Chengdu, 610039, China.

The construction of underground cavern groups represents a particularly challenging task in current subsurface engineering due to a multitude of variable and often unknown factors, including diverse geological conditions. This study introduces a four-dimensional spatiotemporal model and formulates a dynamic safety information model for these underground systems. Developed using C# and Python, the model integrates the finite element analysis software ABAQUS and Microsoft SQL Server database.

Herein, modified ammonium polyphosphate wrapped nano-alumina (mAPP@Als) was first synthesized and then dispersed in traditional fire extinguishing solution (FES) to fabricate a FES-mAPP@Als composite sol. It was found that the phosphorus-silica containing units were attached onto the nano-alumina surface, and the mAPP@Als particles showed excellent dispersion level in FES with a single-domain particle size distribution range. Due to the synergistic effects of the phosphorus-nitrogen and silica-alumina flame retardant components, FES-mAPP@Als (5% concentration) coated wood exhibited improved limiting oxygen index (33.

Flame-Retardant and Self-Healing Waterborne Polyurethane Based on Organic Selenium.

ACS Appl Mater Interfaces

March 2023

National Engineering Research Center of Clean Technology in Leather Industry, Sichuan University, Chengdu 610065, PR China.

Waterborne polyurethane has drawn extensive attention due to its environmental friendliness and is widely used in many areas. However, it is still a great challenge to synthesize waterborne polyurethanes with flame retardancy and fast room-temperature self-healing ability, along with excellent mechanical performance and emulsion stability due to the mutually contradictory nature of these properties. Herein, waterborne polyurethanes containing organic selenium (SWPU-) from 0.

Current energy problems have driven the development of thermal storage technology based on phase change materials (PCMs). However, the leakage and flammability of organic PCMs appeared as troublesome agendas that deserve attention. In this article, the strategy of constructing phase change capsules with paraffin wax (PW) core and multilayer shell was proposed aiming to address the above issues.

Edaravone combined with dexamethasone exhibits synergic effects on attenuating smoke-induced inhalation lung injury in rats.

Biomed Pharmacother

September 2021

National Chengdu Center for Safety Evaluation of Drugs and National Clinical Research Center for Geriatrics, West China hospital, Sichuan University, Chengdu 610041, PR China. Electronic address:

Inhalational lung injury often leads to morbidity and mortality during fire disasters. In this study, we aimed to evaluate the protective effects of edaravone combined with dexamethasone on smoke-induced inhalational lung injury. Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into five groups, namely, the control, model (inhalation), and three treatment groups (edaravone, dexamethasone, and edaravone combined with dexamethasone).

A novel method was developed for the simultaneous determination of nine typical anions (Cl, NO, ClO, NO, CO, SO, SO, SCNand ClO) in explosive residues by ion chromatography (IC). A high capacity anion-exchange IonPac AS20 column (250 mm×4 mm) was used for the separation of the nine anions with gradient elution of KOH. The injection volume was 20 μL, the column temperature was 40℃, and the flow rate was 1.
