Background: Assessment of immune function is of key importance in recognition of disease or healthy status, which still faces challenge in clinical practice. We conducted a 10-center study to investigate lymphocyte parameters including the number, phenotype and IFN-γ-producing ability, and routine laboratory indicators by using the standard method.

Results: Although the heterogeneity of lymphocyte parameters was widely found, we have established the normal ranges of these parameters by using pooled data which showed no significant difference among centers.

Department of Ultrasonic, Sichuan Academy of Medical Sciences & Sichuan Provincal People's Hospital, School of Medicine, University of Electronic Scienceand Technology of China, No. 32, West Second Section, First Ring Road, Qingyang District, Chengdu, 610072, Sichuan, China.

Background: The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the clinical effectiveness of ultrasonography-guided needle release of A1 pulley combined with corticosteroid injection by comparing it with ultrasound-guided needle release of the A1 pulley alone.

Methods: A total of 49 patients (55 fingers, thumb) with trigger fingers were included in this retrospective study. Twenty-seven fingers were treated with ultrasound-guided needle release of the A1 pulley alone (monotherapy group), and 28 fingers were treated with needle release of the A1 pulley combined with corticosteroid injection (combination group).

Objective: To compare the clinical effectiveness of ultrasound-guided corticosteroid injection with and without needle release of the A1 pulley in treating trigger finger.

Methods: A total of 60 patients with trigger finger were enrolled in this retrospective study. Among them, 30 patients were treated with ultrasound-guided needle release of the A1 pulley with corticosteroid injection (group A) and 30 patients were treated with single ultrasound-guided corticosteroids injection (group B).

Objective: To compare short-term effectiveness between robot-guided percutaneous minimally invasive pedicle screw internal fixation and traditional open internal fixation in the treatment of thoracolumbar fractures.

Methods: The clinical data of 52 cases of thoracolumbar fracture without neurological injury symptoms admitted between January 2018 and May 2018 were retrospectively analyzed. According to the different surgical methods, they were divided into minimally invasive group (24 cases, treated with robot-assisted percutaneous minimally invasive pedicle screw internal fixation) and open group (28 cases, treated with traditional open internal fixation).

Ultrasound-guided needle release of the transverse carpal ligament with and without corticosteroid injection for the treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome.

J Orthop Surg Res

April 2018

Ultrasonic Department, Sichuan Academy of Medical Sciences & Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital, School of Medicine, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, No. 32, West Section 2, Yihuan Road, Qingyang District, Chengdu, 610072, People's Republic of China.

Background: To compare the clinical effectiveness of ultrasound-guided needle release of the transverse carpal ligament (TCL) with and without corticosteroid injection in carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS).

Methods: From June 2016 to June 2017, 49 CTS patients (50 wrists) were included in this study. Twenty-five wrists were treated with ultrasound-guided needle release of the TCL plus corticosteroid injection (group A), and 25 wrists were treated with single ultrasound-guided needle release of the TCL (group B).

Adhesive Capsulitis of the Shoulder: Evaluation With US-Arthrography Using a Sonographic Contrast Agent.

Sci Rep

July 2017

Department of Ultrasound, Sichuan Cancer Hospital Institute, Sichuan Cancer Center, School of Medicine, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China.

Adhesive capsulitis (AC) is a painful and disabling disorder, which caused restricted motion and chronic pain of shoulder. Intracavitary contrast-enhanced ultrasound has been recently applied to assess obstructive bile duct diseases, tubal patency, vesicoureteric reflux and so on. The aim of this study was to detect the value of US-arthrography by injecting the contrast agent SonoVue into glenohumeral joint compared with US in diagnosing AC.
