While most are asymptomatic, they can present with anaemia, jaundice, abdominal mass, scrotal haematoma or more severe complications such as shock and adrenal insufficiency. Scrotal haematoma seen with NAH may be mistaken for other more serious conditions causing acute scrotum.

Retropharyngeal infections (RPIs) are uncommon in young infants and are difficult to diagnose due to their non-classical presentation. RPI can occasionally be complicated with multiple cranial nerve palsies but rarely in isolation. Isolated hypoglossal nerve palsy (HNP) due to RPI has been described in the literature but mostly in older children and adults.

Orbital cellulitis is an extremely rare but potentially lethal condition in neonates. The clinical presentation of neonatal orbital cellulitis can be non-specific, and minimal signs of periorbital inflammation may go unrecognised by inexperienced parents or primary care medical personnel, leading to delayed treatment. Herein, we present a case series describing ophthalmia neonatorum complicated with neonatal orbital cellulitis owing to delayed treatment.

Background: Digital health can support health care in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) by overcoming problems of distance, poor infrastructure and the need to provide community practitioners with specialist support. We used five RESPIRE countries as exemplars (Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan) to identify the digital health solutions that are valuable in their local setting, worked together with local clinicians and researchers to explore digital health policy, electricity/ICT infrastructure, and socio-cultural factors influencing users' ability to access, adopt and utilise digital health.
Methods: We adopted the Joanna Briggs Institute's scoping review protocol and followed the Cochrane Rapid Review method to accelerate the review process, using the Implementation and Operation of Mobile Health projects framework and The Extended Technology Acceptance Model of Mobile Telephony to categorise the results.

We wish to present a case of a young lady with type 1 diabetes mellitus, who had presented with subacute neuromuscular weakness which was erroneously treated as myasthenic crisis.

Here we review the existing evidence of animal alphacoronaviruses () circulating in human patients with acute respiratory illness. Thus far, the viruses similar to canine, feline and porcine alphacoronaviruses (including the most recent CCoV-HuPn-2018 and HuCCoV_Z19) have been detected in humans in Haiti, Malaysia, Thailand, and USA. The available data suggest that these viruses emerged in different geographic locations independently and have circulated in humans for at least 20 years.
