Background: Minimally invasive surgeries are increasingly central to modern medicine, particularly in liver transplantation. These techniques, which offer reduced trauma, precise operations, minimal bleeding, and swift recovery, are, however, unevenly adopted across China. Only a limited number of centers routinely perform minimally invasive donor hepatectomies, indicating a significant imbalance in the development and application of these advanced procedures.

Background: Immune therapy, especially involving PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors, has shown promise as a therapeutic option for cholangiocarcinoma. However, limited studies have evaluated survival outcomes in cholangiocarcinoma patients treated with immune therapy. This study aims to develop a predictive model to evaluate the survival benefits of immune therapy in patients with cholangiocarcinoma.

Introduction: Recently, moral distress in pediatric nursing has gained academic attention, yet comprehensive literature reviews on this group are scarce.
Aims: This study aims to offer a detailed overview of moral distress among pediatric nurses, focusing on understanding its characteristics, prevalence, underlying causes, and consequences on the quality of patient care.
Methods: Employing a scoping review approach as recommended by the Joanna Briggs Institute, this study will systematically search through PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, APA PsycInfo, and CINAHL databases using specific search strategies.

Objective: To assess clinical value of modified Shenling Baizhu powder (, SBP) in intervening targeted therapy-induced diarrhea.
Methods: This study was a prospective randomized controlled study. Eighty-five non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients with diarrhea who took targeted drugs were randomly divided into two groups.

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a highly malignant tumor with significant global health implications. The role of CD4 T cells, particularly conventional CD4 T cells (Tconvs), in HCC progression remains unexplored. Furthermore, epigenetic factors are crucial in immune regulation, yet their specific role in HCC-infiltrating Tconv cells remains elusive.

We present the case of a 32-year-old woman who was ultimately diagnosed with obstructive jaundice. She exhibited persist jaundice, liver dysfunction with normal drainage of T-tube (400-500 ml per day), and normal stools. Prior to her admission to our department, she had undergone a cholecystectomy and T-tube placement following common bile duct exploration for cholelithiasis.

Background: Vascular invasion is a major risk factor for poor prognosis of liver transplantation (LT) for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), and this study aimed to evaluate the feasibility and efficacy of deceased donor LT (DDLT) for the treatment of microvascular invasion (MVI) and segmental portal vein tumor thrombus (PVTT).
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 141 patients who received DDLT for HCC combined with vascular invasion from January 2016 to December 2023 at Shulan (Hangzhou) Hospital. To assess the risk of vascular invasion associated with the LT prognosis, we evaluated various clinicopathologic variables.

Objective: To evaluate the predictive performance of metagenomic next-generation sequencing (mNGS) in identifying and predicting pulmonary infections following liver transplantation and to investigate its association with patient outcomes within the initial four-week post-transplantation period.
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 41 liver transplant patients with suspected pulmonary infections from August 2022 to May 2023. Bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) samples were collected on the first postoperative day for metagenomic next generation sequencing (mNGS) and culture.

Background: Gallstone disease (GSD), nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD), and metabolic syndrome (MetS) are common medical disorders worldwide. This study aimed to ascertain how NAFLD, MAFLD, MetS, and other factors affect the development of GSD, and how the GSD-associated factors influence patient recovery after laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC).
Methods: We included 200 patients who were diagnosed with GSD and underwent LC between January 2017 and February 2022.

Background: The objectives of this study were to assess the safety and efficacy of drug-eluting bead transarterial chemoembolization (DEB-TACE) as neoadjuvant therapy before liver transplantation (LT) for advanced-stage hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and to analyze the prognostic factors.
Aim: To determine whether DEB-TACE before LT is superior to LT for advanced-stage HCC.
Methods: A total of 99 individuals diagnosed with advanced HCC were studied retrospectively.
