Objective: Single inhaler triple therapy is widely used in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and asthma. This research aimed to analyze adverse events (AEs) associated with Budesonide/Glycopyrronium/Formoterol Fumarate (BUD/GLY/FOR) and Fluticasone Furoate/Umeclidinium/Vilanterol (FF/UMEC/VI).
Methods: This is a cross-sectional study.
Introduction: As ageing accelerates, frailty increasingly impacts public health. Cough, sputum, wheezing and dyspnea are common respiratory symptoms, and the relationship to frailty is unclear. We aimed to analyze the relationship between respiratory symptoms and frailty.

This study aimed to compare the seven-year refractive outcomes of small incision lenticule extraction (SMILE) and femtosecond laser-assisted laser in situ keratomileusis (FS-LASIK) for correction of myopia and myopic astigmatism. This retrospective cohort study included 97 eyes of 53 patients who had undergone SMILE or FS-LASIK for myopia seven years prior. Measured parameters included uncorrected distance visual acuity (UDVA), corrected distance visual acuity (CDVA), and manifest refraction.

Objectives: To assess the efficacy of the Chinese herbal medication Shugan Hewei formula (SHF) combined with rabeprazole in patients with refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease (rGERD).
Method: A total of 264 participants were randomly assigned to the treatment group (n = 132) receiving SHF granules (20 mg) combined with rabeprazole (10 mg) and the control group (n = 132) receiving placebo SHF granules (20 mg) combined with rabeprazole (20 mg). Both groups undergo 8 weeks of treatment and 2 weeks of follow-up.
Neuropathic pain is a prevalent condition that affects 6.9%-10% of the population and results from nerve damage due to various etiologies, such as lumbar disc herniation, spinal canal stenosis, and intervertebral foramen stenosis. Although Tuina, a traditional Chinese manual therapy, has shown analgesic effects in clinical practice for the treatment of neuropathic pain, its underlying neurobiological mechanisms remain unclear.

Ethnopharmacological Relevance: The Suxiao Jiuxin Pill (SJP) has been used for treating chronic stable angina (SA) for more than 40 years in China. SJP is composed of two Chinese herbs and has the effect of activating blood and promoting qi, according to traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) theory.
Aim Of The Study: The study aims to determine the effects of adjunct SJP on conventional therapy in patients with SA which provides a complementary choice and its evidence for clinical medication for treating SA.
Background: A large number of patient reported outcome measures (PROMs) have been developed in the English language for various lower extremity orthopaedic pathologies. Twenty different PROMs were recommended for 15 specific musculoskeletal lower extremity pathologies or surgeries. However, the availability of cross-culturally adapted versions of these recommended PROMs is unknown.

Background: Unexplained recurrent spontaneous abortion (URSA) is one of the most common diseases in pregnancy and is mainly caused by immune disorders. The foetus is similar to semiallogeneic maternal tissue, so the balance of immune tolerance must be dynamically maintained during pregnancy. Decidual natural killer (dNK) cells primarily mediate the immune tolerance microenvironment at the maternal-fetal interface.

Background: The PHOEBE study showed that pyrotinib is an alternative treatment option for patients with human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-positive advanced breast cancer after trastuzumab and chemotherapy. Diarrhea was a common adverse event that could compromise or modify treatment administration.
Methods: We conducted a retrospective cohort study of HER2-positive advanced breast cancer patients receiving a pyrotinib-based regimen between August 2018 and January 2021.

Epigallocatechin-3-O-gallate (EGCG) is a green biomedical agent for promoting wound healing, which possess excellent antibacterial, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities. For improving the low bioavailability challenges of EGCG in vivo, we had successful created a low-cost and simple wound dressing Poly (L-Lactic-co-caprolactone) (PLCL)/Gelatin/EGCG/Core-shell nanofiber membrane (PGEC) with drug sustained release capacity through coaxial electrospinning technology. In vitro experimental indicated that the core-shell structure wound dressing had excellent biocompatibility, antibacterial and antioxidant ability, which could support cell viability and proliferation, encourage re-epithelialization during the healing process, inhibit subsequent wound infection and thus promote wound regeneration.

Background: With the increased understanding of heart disease, microvascular angina (MVA) is receiving greater attention from clinicians. Studies have shown that patients with MVA have significantly higher major cardiovascular events and all-cause mortality than the control population, and the search for effective treatments is of great clinical importance. Both basic and clinical studies have shown that Qi-Jing Hui-Xin Decoction (QJHX) can relieve angina symptoms and improve clinical efficacy, but there is a lack of high-quality clinical studies to provide a research basis.

Suxiao Jiuxin pill (SJP) is a traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of acute coronary syndrome in China, which contains two principal components, tetramethylpyrazine (TMP) and borneol (BOR). Thus far, however, the molecular mechanisms underlying the beneficial effects of SJP on the cardiac microenvironment are unknown. Cardiac mesenchymal stem cells (C-MSCs) communicate with cardiomyocytes (CMs) through the release of microvesicles (exosomes) to restore cardiac homeostasis and elicit repair, in part through epigenetic regulatory mechanisms.

Cardiac mesenchymal stem cells (C-MSCs) are endogenous cardiac stromal cells that play a role in heart repair after injury. C-MSC-derived exosomes (Exo) have shown protective effects against apoptosis induced by acute myocardial ischemia/reperfusion. Suxiao Jiuxin pill (SJP) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formula used in China for the treatment of acute myocardial ischemia, which contains tetramethylpyrazine (TMP) and borneol (BOR) as major components.

Berberine (BBR) has previously been found to exert beneficial effects on renal injury in experimental rats. However, the mechanisms underlying these effects are not yet fully understood. Tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor-associated factor 5 (TRAF5) has been demonstrated to mediate the activation of nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB), which has been implicated in the pathogenesis of chronic kidney disease (CKD).
