Purpose: Associations were assessed between demographic/lifestyle factors and tear film breakup time (TBUT) defined dry eye disease (DED) in China.
Methods: The cross-sectional study involved 50,280 subjects (54 ± 17 y) in 217 clinics (25 provinces). Data included sleep disorders; digital screen exposure; and use of cosmetics, contact lenses, and eye drops (for asthenopia).

Introductions: This study aimed to analyze the correlation between refractive status and ocular biological parameters in preschool-age children (3-6 years old), establish a regression curve, guide the clinical judgment of children's refractive status, and improve the accuracy of refractive screening for this age group.
Methods: A total of 508 children, aged 3-6 years, were admitted to the hospital, exhibiting symptoms of ametropia and a need for dilation optometry. Among these, 326 children were included in the statistics group, having been examined between August 2021 and October 2022, and 182 children were included in the validation group, having been examined between November 2022 and March 2023.

Background: An improper procedure of esthetic lateral canthoplasty can lead to lateral canthal deformity with other complications. To ensure proper canthal contour and eyelid function, the lateral canthus must be restored and the lower eyelid must be stabilized.
Methods: This was a retrospective study that included a group of consecutive patients who had failed esthetical lateral canthoplasty between 2020 and 2022.

Objective: To investigate refractive development and prevalence of myopia in children aged 3-6 years in Hebei Province, China, and to explore the developmental law of refraction, so as to clinically guide the prediction and intervention of myopia.
Methods: In May 2019, a total of 6120 people were inspected in 68 kindergartens in 11 cities in Hebei Province. Child refractive refraction was checked under noncycloplegia using a handheld binocular vision screener (SW-800, SUOER, Tianjin, China).

Purpose: To evaluate the differences in macular choroidal thickness and volume among patients with pseudoexfoliative glaucoma (PXG), patients with primary open-angle glaucoma (POAG), and controls.
Methods: A total of 50 PXG patients (50 eyes) and 56 POAG patients (56 eyes) were selected as the PXG group and the POAG group, respectively, in this case-control study. A total of 54 age-, gender-, IOP-, and axial length-matched healthy individuals (54 eyes) were selected as the control group.

Aim: To compare the Barrett True-K formula with other formulas integrated in Lenstar 900 to predict intraocular lens (IOL) power after small-incision lenticule extraction (SMILE).
Methods: A theoretical prospective study was performed to predict the ratio of equivalent IOL power before and after SMILE using the SRK/T (Sanders, Retzlaff, Kraff/theoretical), Holladay 1, Haigis, and Barrett True-K formulas and compare the stability of their predictions. The study included 54 eyes (54 cases) with a manifest refraction spherical equivalent (MRSE) of -4.
