Silylboronates, as powerful and versatile reagents, have been widely used in synthetic chemistry over the past few decades, due to their ability to incorporate silicon and boron atoms into organic molecules. With the rapid development of radical chemistry, the use of silylboronates as silyl radical precursors has recently become a research focus in organic synthesis. Significant achievements have been made in the synthetic applications of silylboronates as silyl radical sources for various C-Si and C-X bond forming transformations.

Modulation of coordination configuration is crucial for boosting the biomimetic catalytic activity of nanozymes, but remains challenging. Here, we found that the non-first-shell amino group in the ligand was capable of steering the N/S coordination number through remote induction to enable the formation of a low-coordinated CuNS configuration. This endowed the resulting nanozyme (ATT-Cu) with an upshifted d-band center compared with a control nanozyme (TT-Cu) with CuNS configuration, enhancing the adsorption capabilities of ATT-Cu for O and HO intermediates as well as its affinity for catechol.

Objective: To investigate the efficacy of noninvasive ventilator usage for type II respiratory failure in patients with severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
Methods: A total of 124 patients with COPD complicated with type II respiratory failure were divided into an observation group (n = 63) and a control group (n = 61) according to their intervention protocols. The patients in the observation group received noninvasive ventilator intervention, and the patients in the control group received bronchodilators, cough suppressants, oxygen therapy, anti-infection medications, nutritional support, and correction of electrolyte imbalances.

An iodophor-catalyzed sulfenylation of indoles using sulfonyl hydrazides as sulfur source to synthesize 3-sulfenylindoles in aqueous phase has been achieved. Notably, iodophor as catalyst and solvent is inexpensive, commercially available and no innocuous to the environment. The method is also easy to operate.

XRD, FTIR spectroscopy, SEM, BET analysis, and TGA were performed to characterize the produced catalysts. The effect of pertinent parameters, including pH, dosage of catalysts, temperature, and shaking speed on the uptake of AM was investigated through batch experiments.

The electrocatalytic carbon dioxide reduction reaction (CORR) is a promising approach to achieving a sustainable carbon cycle. Recently, diatomic catalysts (DACs) have demonstrated advantages in the CORR due to their complex and flexible active sites. However, our understanding of how DACs break the scaling relationship remains insufficient.

This study aims to investigate the mitigating effect and mechanism of Cichorium glandulosum n-butanol extraction site(CGE) on the disease in carbon tetrachloride(CCl_4)-induced chronic liver injury model in rats. A chronic liver injury model was constructed by subcutaneous injection of CCl_4 olive oil solution, and after four weeks of CGE treatment, serum levels of aspartate aminotransferase(AST), alanine aminotransferase(ALT), alkaline phosphatase(AKP), hydroxyproline(HYP), interleukin-4(IL-4), interleukin-6(IL-6), malondialdehyde(MDA), superoxide dismutase(SOD), and tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α) were detected. Liver tissue was processed by hematoxylin-eosin(HE) staining and Masson staining to observe the structure of the rat liver.

Hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy's role in ovarian cancer remains controversial, hindered by limited understanding of hyperthermia-induced tumor cellular changes. This limits developing potent combinatory strategies anchored in hyperthermic intraperitoneal therapy (HIPET). Here, we perform a comprehensive multi-omics study on ovarian cancer cells under hyperthermia, unveiling a distinct molecular panorama, primarily characterized by rapid protein phosphorylation changes.

Electrocatalytic hydrogenation of benzoic acid (BA) to cyclohexanecarboxylic acid (CCA) at ambient temperature and pressure has been recognized as a promising alternative to thermal hydrogenation since water is required as the hydrogen source. So far, only a few Pt-based electrocatalysts have been developed in acidic electrolyte. To overcome the limitations of reactant solubility and catalyst corrosion, herein, carbon fiber-supported Ru electrocatalysts with abundant Ru/RuO heterojunctions were fabricated cyclic electrodeposition between -0.
