Ovarian cancer (OCa) remains a highly lethal disease, largely due to late-stage diagnosis and limited treatment options for recurrent metastatic tumors. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been recognized as key regulators of cancer hallmarks, yet their specific roles in driving OCa progression are not fully understood. In this study, we employed an integrated approach combining clinical correlation, functional assays, and mechanistic investigations to reveal that lncRNA ZFHX2-AS1 is significantly downregulated in OCa tissues and cells, with its reduced expression associated with poor clinical outcomes.

Background: Atopic dermatitis (AD), psoriasis (PSO), rosacea, and other related immune skin diseases are affected by multiple complex factors such as genetic and microbial components. This research investigates the causal relationships between specific skin microbiota and these diseases by using Mendelian randomization (MR), and Bayesian weighted Mendelian randomization (BWMR).
Methods: We utilized genome-wide association study (GWAS) data to analyze the associations between various skin bacteria and three dermatological diseases.

Objectives: To assess the association between kidney function and odds of having low skeletal muscle mass (LSMM) in Chinese adults on the basis of a community study.
Data And Methods: In this cross-sectional study, we included 3726 Chinese older persons who participated in an ongoing prospective study, the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study(CHARLS). Fasting blood samples were collected in 2012 and analyzed for serum creatinine.

Objective: To explore clinical effect of vancomycin calcium sulfate combined with internal fixation on calcaneal beak-like fracture secondary to calcaneal osteomyelitis caused by diabetic foot.
Methods: From April 2018 to October 2021, a retrospective analysis was performed on 5 patients with calcaneal bone osteomyelitis secondary to diabetic foot, including 2 males and 3 females, aged from 48 to 60 years old;diabetes course ranged from 5 to 13 years;the courses of diabetic foot disease ranged from 18 to 52 days;5 patients were grade Ⅲ according to Wagner classification. All patients were treated with debridement, vancomycin bone cement implantation, negative pressure aspiration at stageⅠ, vancomycin calcium sulfate and internal fixation at stageⅡfor calcaneal beak-like fracture.

Ischemic stroke (IS) is one of the leading causes of death and disability. Complicated mechanisms are involved in the pathogenesis of IS. Immunomodulatory mechanisms are crucial to IS.

However, related studies are limited, and these traditional observational studies may be subject to residual confounders and reverse causation, while also lacking a more comprehensive observation of various reproductive factors. Univariate and multivariate two-sample Mendelian randomization analyses were conducted to determine the causal associations of AMH levels and six reproductive factors with BMD and OP, using the random-effects inverse-variance weighted method.

Background: Stable angina pectoris (SAP) is a clinical condition characterized by reversible and temporary myocardial ischemia and hypoxia. A majority of SAP patients also experience depressive disorders, which adversely affect their disease prognosis and overall quality of life. However, the clinical utility of existing antidepressants is constrained by their side effects.

Introduction: Tooth loss is associated with increased mortality risk; however, the mechanism underlying this is still not clear. The objective of this study was to explore whether frailty mediates the association between tooth loss and mortality risk among the oldest old individuals.
Methods: The participants were followed up from 1998 to 2018 in the Chinese Longitudinal Healthy Longevity Survey (CLHLS).

Oral leukoplakia (OLK) is the most common potentially malignant disorders in the oral cavity. This study aimed to screen the key genes of OLK malignant transformation using the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database and experiments. In this study, the GEO database was employed to screen OLK malignant transformation-related genes, which were subsequently identified with a series of bioinformatic analyses.

Background: Recent studies have reported conflicting associations between egg consumption and the risk of all-cause or cardiovascular disease (CVD) mortality, including ischemic heart disease (IHD) mortality and stroke mortality. With accumulating evidence, up-to-date evidence about the association should be synthesized.
Objectives: We aimed to assess the association of the risk of all-cause and CVD mortality with egg consumption.

The three-dimensional (3D) printing technology combined with bone tissue engineering has become one of the major methods for mandibular reconstruction. However, the key factor retarding mandible reconstruction is the barrier of understanding and achieving the complex 3D gridwork formed by the trabeculae. This study innovatively constructed a low-temperature 3D printing silk fibroin/collagen/hydroxyapatite (SF/COL/HA) composite scaffold with a stable structure and remarkable biocompatibility.

Background: Ischemic stroke is a common cerebrovascular disease. Due to sudden interruption of blood flow by arterial thrombus, amounts of neurons in ischemic central and penumbral regions occur necrosis and apoptosis resulting in serious injury of neurological function. Chinese medicines have a great advantage in ischemic stroke treatment and recovery, especially Angelica sinensis.
