The incidence of sexual dysfunction is higher in men with chronic kidney disease (CKD) than in those without, of which ED is the most common clinical manifestation. Sexual dysfunction is closely related to malfunction of the endocrine system in CKD males, mainly including the disorder in the hypothalamus-pituitary-gonadal axis and hyperprolactinemia. Besides, blood vessels, the nervous system, psychological status, trace elements, and drugs are also contributory factors.

Background: Psoriasis is a T-cell-mediated chronic inflammatory dermatosis. Th1, Th17 and Th22 cells are suggested to contribute to the pathogenesis of psoriasis.
Objective: To determine whether treatment with the anti-tumor-necrosis-factor antagonist, adalimumab, induces significant modulation of the Th1, Th17 and Th22 pathways, and correlates cellular activity with clinical response.

Psoriasis is a common dermatosis mediated by T cells. This study investigated the correlation of Th22 cells and Tc22 cells with psoriasis. A total of 30 psoriasis patients and 11 age- and sex-matched healthy controls were recruited for this study.
