Objective: To retrieve the core drug of osteoarthritis in clinic using Data Mining, predict the drug molecular action target through the Network Pharmacology, identify the key nodes of the interaction by combining with the related targtes of osteoarthritis, explore the pharmacological mechanism of Traditional Chinese Medicine against osteoarthritis and other possible mechanisms of actions.
Methods: to retrieve the commonly used therapeutic formulations for osteoarthritis patients in clinical with PubMed, CNKI, VIP, CBM, Wan Fang Database and other databases, and screen out the core drugs through the Ancient and Modern Medical Case Cloud Platform and software Gephi, filter out the core drug molecules and targets combined with TCMSP database and the targets of osteoarthritis in Genecard and OMIM database, plunge those data into R project and Cytoscape to construct the intersection model of Drug molecule-osteoarthritis, establish PPI network and GO and conduct KEGG enrichment analysis with String database. Vina molecular docking was finally implemented to draw molecular docking diagram, and the results were analyzed after comprehensive analysis.

Expansions were carried out in finite element (FE) models of disc hernia including symmetric (median, lateral, paramedian) and asymmetric types. In all models, lubricous disk bulging that applied a linear compression to the anterior part of the cord was observed at the posterior surfaces of the expansion zone, respectively. The shape and position of protrusions varyed with the temperature, magnitude, and location of expanding elements.

BACKGROUND In cervical disc degeneration, cervical disc height (CDH) and cervical disc angle (CDA)have a certain but unidentified relationship with cervical lordosis (CL). This study aimed to reveal the relationship among CDH, CDA, and CL in patients diagnosed with cervical spondylotic myelopathy (CSM). MATERIAL AND METHODS A retrospective analysis was conducted using the data of 212 CSM patients (136 males and 76 females).

Purpose: Osteocyte network structure correlates with bone material quality. This network is profoundly altered in diabetic mice; however, the underlying mechanisms are unknown. The gap junction protein connexin 43 (Cx43) is necessary for normal osteocyte function and osteocyte network formation.

Problems that screw cannot be inserted may occur in screw-rod fixation techniques such as Harms technique. We compared the biomechanical stability imparted to the C-2 vertebrae by four designed posterior screw and rod fixation techniques for the management of odontoid fractures. A three-dimensional finite element model of the odontoid fracture was established by subtracting several unit structures from the normal model from a healthy male volunteer.

Unlabelled: We found that the fragility hip and vertebral fractures caused excess mortality rates in this Chinese female population, which was unexpectedly lower than those in western countries and other Asian countries. This was the first nationwide survey relating to post-fracture outcomes conducted among Chinese population in Mainland China.
Introduction: This study aimed to investigate the mortality, self-care ability, diagnosis, and medication treatment of osteoporosis following fragility hip and vertebral fractures through a nationwide survey among female patients aged over 50 in Mainland China.
