A clinical practice guideline on telerehabilitation was developed by an American Physical Therapy Association volunteer guideline development group consisting of international physical therapists and physiotherapists, a physician, and a consumer. The guideline was based on systematic reviews of current scientific literature, clinical information, and accepted approaches to telerehabilitation in physical therapist practice. Seven recommendations address the impact of, preparation for, and implementation of telerehabilitation in physical therapist practice.

Introduction: All Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) programs in the United States prepare students to demonstrate entry-level clinical performance upon graduation. Clinical residency programs are an option for DPT graduates seeking to specialize in a practice area.
Review Of Literature: There is little research published on why DPT graduates decide to pursue residency education (RE) or not.

A novel entry-level collaborative clinical learning experience (CLE) in pediatric physical therapy (PT) delivered via telehealth was implemented involving 12 families, 54 DPT students, and 12 clinical instructors (CIs). Children of various ages, a wide range of home environments, and diagnoses received individualized PT via telehealth during a four-week CLE. Retrospective quantitative and qualitative analyses of student documentation, video recordings of sessions, and CI, student, and caregiver survey responses were performed.

Healthcare avoidance of the LGBTQIA+ community is growing, in part, due to a knowledge gap in medical learners on LGBTQIA+-related topics. Barriers of including LGBTQIA+ topics in medical education include perceived lack of applicability and preceptor knowledge gaps. Advocating for a weave-like integration approach, topics such as personal biases, hormone replacement therapy, STI prevention, and health inequities should be included.

Objective: End-of-life care is an important aspect of health care profession education; however, little has been published about preparing student pharmacists for the emotional impact of their patient dying. This manuscript describes using a question-and-answer seminar with a mixed faculty and student panel, members of which had been impacted by a patient's death, as a stimulus for student reflection on how they might cope in similar circumstances.
Methods: Students attending the seminar were provided a guiding prompt for reflecting on what would help them respond to a patient's death.

Empirical evidence indicates that collaborative interprofessional practice leads to positive health outcomes. Further, there is an abundance of evidence examining student and/or faculty perceptions of learning or satisfaction about the interprofessional education (IPE) learning experience. However, there is a dearth of research linking IPE interventions to patient outcomes.

Zebrafish have become a go-to model organism for studies, in part because of their reputation as being inexpensive to rear and house. Multiple do-it-yourself designs are currently available that provide laboratories with cost-effective housing systems. Unfortunately, these designs suffer from a range of issues ranging from poor water cycling rates and fragile housing tanks to inconsistent water conditions and designs that are prohibitively expensive for smaller laboratories to construct and maintain.

Purpose: Pediatric-onset multiple sclerosis (MS) is associated with risk for functional limitations defined as the perceived reduction in capacity for undertaking activities of daily living. Moderate-to-vigorous physical activity (MVPA) has been associated with less frequent and less impactful functional limitations, but the symptoms of fatigue and depression have not been considered as potential confounding variables. This study examined whether fatigue and depression confound the association between MVPA and functional limitations among youth with pediatric MS.

Importance: Occupational therapy practice is intended to reflect the core construct of occupation throughout all aspects of service delivery. In pediatric occupational therapy, the evidence examining regularly selected assessment tools and the occupational constructs of those assessment tools is insufficient.
Objective: To examine the assessment tools regularly selected by practicing pediatric occupational therapists and the therapists' classification of assessment tools as occupation-based.

To examine the perceptions of occupation-based assessment tool selection by pediatric occupational therapists, a phenomenological research study was conducted with six pediatric occupational therapy practitioners. Three themes emerged from participants' perspectives: the centrality of occupation, selecting the just right tool, and practice implications.

Over the past several years, traditional metrics have indicated declining student success within colleges and schools of pharmacy. Though students may be less well-prepared for professional school than in years past, once candidates are admitted to our institutions, we have a responsibility to effectively support their progression through the program. The 2022-2023 Student Affairs Committee was convened to evaluate and advance the construct of student success within Doctor of Pharmacy programs.
