Objectives: To assess antibacterial effects of silver diamine fluoride (SDF) and fluoride varnish treatment against and .

Materials And Methods: The antibacterial effectiveness of SDF (group A) and fluoride varnish (group B) against was investigated in an microbiological investigation, with distilled water (group C) serving as the positive and negative controls. After 24 hours of incubation, the antibacterial efficiency was assessed using the agar well diffusion technique, and the diameter of the zones of inhibition (ZOI) was quantified.

Objective: To determine the efficacy of latelet-rich fibrin (PRF) and Amniotic membrane (AM) along with the coronally advanced flap (CAF) technique in treating Miller's class I gingival recession (GR) defects.

Material And Methods: A total of 32 sites with Miller's class I GR defects were distributed into Group A (CAF + PRF, n = 16) and Group B (CAF + AM, n = 16). Clinical parameters like gingival index (GI), plaque index (PI), gingival bleeding index (GBI), gingival sulcus depth (GSD), relative attachment level (RAL), and gingival marginal level (GML) were measured at baseline and at 3, 6 and 9 months after surgical intervention.

Objectives: The current research was conducted to evaluate the use of a diode laser and a bone graft (hydroxyapatite [HA] + β-tricalcium phosphate [β-TCP]) in healing of intrabony defects.

Materials And Methods: In this split-mouth evaluation, 40 patients with bilateral intrabony defects were treated with, Group I (control) - bone graft alone (HA + β-TCP) and Group II, (test) - bone graft with a diode laser. The clinical and radiologic parameters of all patients, such as plaque index (PI), probing depth (PD), gingival index (GI), gingival recession (GR), and relative clinical attachment level (RCAL) were recorded at baseline, after 3 months and after 6 months.
