Efficacy of Information-Motivation-Behavioral Skills ModelBased nursing care intervention in management of patients with Heart Failure: A retrospective cohort study.

Objective: Self-care practices are integral part of heart failure (HF) management. Information-Motivation-Behavioral skills (IMB) model has shown promise in fostering better self-care behaviors, but its efficacy in management of HF patients remains underexplored. This retrospective study investigated the value of IMB model-based nursing intervention for improving self-care, hemodynamic indicators, and quality of life (QOL) of HF patients.

Application of multi-disciplinary team nursing model enhances recovery after surgery for total hip arthroplasty and total knee arthroplasty.

Aim: To explore the effect of a multidisciplinary team (MDT) nursing model based on enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) in total hip arthroplasty (THA)/total knee arthroplasty (TKA) and evaluate its application in the perioperative period of patients.

Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 100 patients with THA/TKA treated at Shaoxing Second Hospital Medical Community General Hospital from January 2021 to December 2023. The patients were divided into an observation group (n = 50) and a control group (n = 50) based on the nursing method employed.
