This experiment investigates how the miR-99b/let-7e/miR-125a cluster regulates the mechanism of NR6A1 involved in the invasive and metastatic effects of pancreatic cancer (PCa). Bioinformatics prediction and dual luciferase reporter gene assay were applied to verify the targeted relationship between miR-99b/let-7e/miR-125a and NR6A1. ASPC1 cells underwent transfection with lentiviruses to overexpress miR-99b/let-7e/miR-125a (individual or together) to explore functions of miR-99b/let-7e/miR-125a cluster governing NR6A1 in PCa.

Objectives: To explore the key genes involved in the occurrence and development of glioblastoma (GBM) by analyzing whole-transcriptome sequencing and biologic data from GBM and normal cerebral cortex tissues and to search for important noncoding RNA (ncRNA) molecular markers based on the competitive endogenous RNA (ceRNA) network.
Methods: Ten GBM and normal cerebral cortex tissues were collected for full transcriptome sequencing, screened for differentially expressed (DE) mRNAs, miRNAs, lncRNAs, and circRNAs, and subjected to bioinformatic analysis. We constructed a Protein-Protein Interaction (PPI) network and a circRNA/lncRNA-miRNA-mRNA regulatory network and identified them using reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR).

Primary lung enteric adenocarcinoma is a rare type of invasive lung carcinoma. Its morphological and immunohistochemical characteristics are similar to those of metastatic colorectal carcinoma, but there is no associated primary colorectal carcinoma. The purpose of this study is to identify mutations by assessing the genetic profile of lung enteric adenocarcinoma with next-generation sequencing (NGS).

Purpose: To investigate the effect of acid etching on bond strength (μTBS) of self-adhesive resin cements (Unicem, G-Cem, Clearfil SA Cement, BisCem) to dentin.
Methods: Thirty-two human third molars without caries were used for the study. One fourth of the crowns were cut off, perpendicular to the long axis of the tooth with (Isomet) a low-speed saw, in order to expose the dentin surfaces of the sectioned sides.

Prostate cancers in the castration-resistant stage are life-threatening because they are not curable in clinic. The novel androgen receptor inhibitor Xandi (Enzalutamide) and the new CYP17 inhibitor Zytiga (Abiraterone) prolonged patient survival only a few months in advanced prostate cancers. Therefore, novel therapeutic agents for advanced prostate cancers are urgently needed.

Methods: Three patients were diagnosed as progressively transformed germinal center (PTGC) from 2010 to 2012. The clinical characteristics, histological features, differential diagnosis, prognosis were analyzed with review of literatures.
