An external trauma, illness, or other pathological cause can harm the structure and function of the spinal cord, resulting in a significant neurological disorder known as spinal cord injury (SCI). In addition to impairing movement and sensory functions, spinal cord injury (SCI) triggers complex pathophysiological responses, with the spatial dynamics of immune cells playing a key role. The inflammatory response and subsequent healing processes following SCI are profoundly influenced by the spatial distribution and movement of immune cells.

Introduction: Health education, weight control and exercise therapy are recognised treatment options for the non-surgical management of knee osteoarthritis (KOA); however, the pain and muscle fatigue associated with exercise make it difficult for patients to initially adhere. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) massage is an important complementary and alternative therapy that can effectively address these deficiencies. According to TCM theory and preliminary clinical practice, loosening of the muscles while pointing to acupoints can promote the recovery of KOA.

Killer Cell Lectin Like Receptor D1 (KLRD1) plays a crucial role in antitumor immunity. However, its expression patterns across various cancers, its relationship with patient prognosis, and its potential as an immunotherapy target remain inadequately understood. We analyzed KLRD1 expression across various cancer types using multi-omics data from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA), Genotype-Tissue Expression (GTEx), and Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) databases, correlating it with patient prognosis.

Introduction: The modified pedicle screw fixation (PSF) was designed to simulate an integrated framework structure to ameliorate the resistance to vertical and shearing forces of the disrupted sacroiliac complex, and the aim of this study was to compare the biomechanical characteristics of PSF and traditional lumbopelvic fixation (LPF) for the treatment of sacroiliac joint disruption.
Methods: The digital computer simulation model of an intact spine-pelvis-femur complex with main ligaments was built from clinical images. A left sacroiliac joint disruption model was mimicked by removing the concerned ligaments.

The study aimed to investigate the molecular mechanisms by which Biochanin A inhibits proliferation and induces apoptosis in breast cancer cells. Cultured MCF-7 cells were divided into four groups: Group 1-control, while Groups 2, 3, and 4 were treated with Biochanin A at different concentrations. After treatment, the cells were monitored, and morphological changes were examined after 24 h of incubation.

Yinchenhao decoction (YCHD) is widely used in the treatment of damp-heat syndrome of chronic hepatitis B (CHB), but it remains unclear about the active compounds in YCHD and its potential mechanism for treating CHB. The purpose of this work is to evaluate the clinical efficacy of YCHD combined with nucleoside analogues (NAs) for the treatment of CHB. Besides, based on the exact clinical efficacy, we combined serum metabolomics and network pharmacology to screen differential metabolites and related pathways regulated by YCHD to investigate the possible mechanism for treating CHB.

Cellular senescence (CS), a permanent and irreversible arrest of the cell cycle and proliferation leading to the degeneration of cellular structure and function, has been implicated in various key physiological and pathological processes, particularly in cancer. Initially, CS was recognized as a barrier to tumorigenesis, serving as an intrinsic defense mechanism to protect cells from malignant transformation. However, increasing evidence suggests that senescent cells can promote tumor progression to overt malignancy, primarily through a set of factors known as senescence-associated secretory phenotypes (SASPs), including chemokines, growth factors, cytokines, and stromal metalloproteinases.

Importance: We compile and analyze ancient literature related to Baihui (GV20) moxibustion and summarize the development of its ancient clinical application.
Observations: The Chinese Medical Classic (5th edition) was used as the search source to screen and organize articles related to Baihui moxibustion to establish a database. We created indexing norms according to study characteristics and indexed books, dynasties, literary styles, disease key words, matching acupoints, combinations, moxibustion amounts, and moxa cone sizes.

The effect of reinforcing and reducing techniques of moxibustion depends on types of moxibustion, operation methods and characteristics of acupoints. According to the ups and downs of pathogenic factors and healthy during the occurrence and development of prostate cancer, three stages are divided, namely, the stage of initial accumulation of cancer toxicity, the stage of the deficiency of healthy and toxin retention, and the stage of deficiency and cold stagnation. In the stage of initial accumulation of cancer toxicity, function is impaired and the dampness, heat and stasis toxin are accumulated in the body; due to which, the reducing technique of moxibustion should be dominant and the healthy be supported in combination.
