To evaluate the association of anti-IFI16 antibodies with peripheral vasculopathy and the predictive value of anti-IFI16 antibodies for the development or persistence of digital ulcers (DPDU) in SSc. A total of 42 SSc patients and 42 age- and sex-matched healthy controls were enrolled. Anti-IFI16 antibodies were examined by ELISA.

Overlooked and underpowered: a meta-research addressing sample size in radiomics prediction models for binary outcomes.

Objectives: To investigate how studies determine the sample size when developing radiomics prediction models for binary outcomes, and whether the sample size meets the estimates obtained by using established criteria.

Methods: We identified radiomics studies that were published from 01 January 2023 to 31 December 2023 in seven leading peer-reviewed radiological journals. We reviewed the sample size justification methods, and actual sample size used.

Acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) has a high mortality rate worldwide; thus, identifying death risk factors related to ARDS is critical for risk stratification in patients with ARDS. Pulmonary artery denervation by noninvasive stereotactic radiotherapy: a pilot study in swine models of pulmonary hypertension.

Catheter-based pulmonary artery denervation (PADN) has achieved promising outcomes to treat pulmonary hypertension (PH). We herein present stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) as a novel noninvasive approach for PADN. A single fraction of 15 Gy, 20 Gy or 25 Gy was delivered for PADN in a thromboxane A2 (TxA2) - induced acute PH swine model.

Dendrimer-Mediated Generation of a Metal-Phenolic Network for Antibody Delivery to Elicit Improved Tumor Chemo/Chemodynamic/Immune Therapy.

To simplify the composition and improve the efficacy of metal-phenolic network (MPN)-based nanomedicine, herein, we designed an MPN platform to deliver programmed death ligand-1 (PD-L1) antibody (anti-PD-L1) for combined tumor chemo/chemodynamic/immune therapy. Here, generation 5 poly(amidoamine) dendrimers conjugated with gossypol (Gos) through boronic ester bonds were used as a synthetic polyphenol to coordinate Mn, and then complexed with anti-PD-L1 to obtain the nanocomplexes (for short, DPGMA).
