OBJECTIVE:Periodontal splints were made both on patients with peridontal absorption of three different degrees and on normal situation respectively followed by finite element calculation. The result sugree that the stesses of the supporting tissues redistributed during mastication in accordance with different degrees of periodontal absorption. The more obvious of the pcriodontal absorption is the more stress value of the periodontal supporting tissue decrease, while those of the subbasal supporting tissues increase.

OBJECTIVE:The effects of low doses fluoride on the phenotypic development of rat fetal calvarial osteoblast were studied because the cellular mechanism of fluoride promotes the increasing of bone volume clinically is unclear. METHODS:The influence of fluoride on the rat first passage osteoblast were valuated by histochemistry, enzyme-histochemistry and electron microanalysis in vitro.RESULTS:The study had revealed that not only the bone tubular and the degree of mineralization, but also the activity expression of alkaline phosphatase of osteoblasts in fluoride group were better than the control group.

OBJECTIVE:We want to select the prime diagnostic factors of anterior corssibe which cna be used to identify the dental and skeletal anterior crossbite. METHODS: From 85 anterior crossbite patients in early permanent dentistion with accurate diagnosis we selected 70 cases to get the prime diagnostic factors by using stepwise discriminant analysis. They were checked by the other 15 cases, We could assess the effects of the factors by calculating their contribution rates.

OBJECTIVE:In order to study cellular dynamicfeatures in carcinoma and premalignancy originated inepithelial tissue. METHODS: The golden hamster pouch premalignant model with dimethylbenzanthracence(DMBA) smeared was established by Salley and detected with flow cytometry(FCM) binding to bromodeoxyuridine(BRDU),30 Syrian golden hamsters were grouped and done contrast study. RESULTS: The cellular lesions were aggravated gradually along with extention of smeared DMBA microstopically,FCM detective results demonstrated that the detective rate of Sporiod cell between contrast and smeared group had significant difference.
