[Prognostic value of albumin and aspartate aminotransferase/alanine aminotransferase ratio in patients with acute liver failure in hyperacute phase of sepsis: a multicenter retrospective cohort study].

Objective: To investigate the prognostic value of albumin (ALB), aspartate aminotransferase/alanine aminotransferase ratio (AST/ALT) in patients with acute liver failure (ALF) in hyperacute phase of sepsis which provided the basis for clinical evaluation and prognostic judgment and corresponding treatment options.

Methods: A multicenter retrospective cohort study was conducted. Patients with ALF in hyperacute phase of sepsis admitted to Zhoupu Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Health College, Shanghai Pudong New Area People's Hospital, and Shanghai Oriental Hospital from January 2019 to February 2024 were enrolled.

Background: Chloasma is a common skin hyperpigmentation condition, with treatment options ranging from topical agents to advanced interventions such as chemical peels and laser therapy. Background: In a previous study, autologous bone marrow infusion (ABMI) was performed in patients with decompensated liver cirrhosis (DLC) and acquired immunodeficiency syndrome and achieved good results, but whether splenectomy affected outcome was unclear.

Aim: To investigate the efficacy of ABMI combined with splenectomy for treatment of DLC.

Methods: Eighty-three patients with DLC were divided into an intervention group (43 cases) and control group (40 cases) according to whether splenectomy was performed.

Objective: The objective of this study was to assess the comparative efficacy in third-line setting for metastatic CRC (mCRC) patients using matched population of FRESCO trial with fruquintinib and real-world data with other TKIs.

Materials And Methods: The arm of fruquintinib from the FRESCO phase III trial (NCT02314819) included the data of patients with metastatic CRC that progressed after at least two lines of chemotherapy and received fruquintinib treatment. An external control arm was constructed using real-world data (RWD) of patients who received other TKIs based on key eligibility criteria of FRESCO.

Purpose: The three-dimensional (3D) sequence of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) plays a critical role in the imaging of musculoskeletal joints; however, its long acquisition time limits its clinical application. In such conditions, compressed sensing (CS) is introduced to accelerate MRI in clinical practice. Background: This study was aimed to compare the sensitivity of transrectal ultrasound (TRUS) guided systematic biopsy (TRUS-SB), superb microvascular imaging guided targeted biopsy (SMI-TB), and elastography ultrasound guided targeted biopsy (EU-TB) in detecting prostate cancer (PCa).

Methods: One hundred and eighty-four patients with suspicious PCa were randomly divided into two groups, SMI-TB group (n=92) and EU-TB group (n=92). All the patients received a 2-core SMI-TB or a 2-core EU-TB before receiving a 12-core TRU-SB depending on the group.

Background: Primary pulmonary lymphoma (PPL) mainly comprises mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma as well as other subtypes of lymphoma. Different phenotypes of PPL demonstrate various high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT) features. We aimed to evaluate the value of HRCT in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of PPL, especially between MALT lymphoma and non-MALT lymphoma and the correlation between CT and pathological features.
