Cuproptosis, a distinct cell death pathway, has been integrated into nanomedicine for disease theranostics. However, current nanosystems inducing cuproptosis rely on exogenous toxic copper ions, limiting the scope of biomaterials. Developing nanoplatforms that induce cuproptosis without exogenous copper holds substantial promise.

Despite the development of HER2-targeting drugs such as trastuzumab and T-DXd, treatment resistance is a substantial challenge, often leading to relapse and distant metastasis. Tumor heterogeneity in HER2-positive breast cancer drives the evolution of resistant clones following therapeutic stress. However, the targetable drivers of anti-HER2 treatment resistance are not thoroughly identified.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to generate a nomogram for predicting long-term facial nerve (FN) function at 3 months following large vestibular schwannoma (VS) resection.
Materials And Methods: Retrospective data were evaluated from patients who underwent VS resection from May 2014 to May 2023 at Huashan Hospital. The nomogram was conducted based on the results of univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis of the risk factors for poor long-term FN function after VS resection.

Background: Tumor dissemination is a life-threatening event which confers to most cancer-related deaths with limited effective therapeutic option. TNFα-induced protein 2 (TNFAIP2) reveals pro-metastasis potential in several cancers. However, its definite role and underlying mechanism in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is largely unknown.

Introduction: Eosinophilic gastrointestinal disease (EGID) is divided into eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) and non-eosinophilic esophagitis eosinophilic gastrointestinal disease (non-EoE-EGID), based on the involved gastrointestinal organs. The present survey was performed to provide an overview of the current status of the epidemiology, diagnosis, and treatment of EGID in Asia.
Methods: Responses to the questionnaire were obtained from 228 doctors at various institutions in eight Asian countries.

Purpose: Health-related quality of life (HRQoL) is key for assessing healthcare outcomes in children and adolescents. The EQ-5D-Y-3 L, adapted from the adult version, is widely used to measure HRQoL among 8-18 year-olds. Despite its effectiveness, concerns about its content validity persist, particularly in Chinese populations.

Background: Total proctocolectomy with ileal pouch-anal anastomosis (IPAA) is widely regarded as a definitive surgical option for managing ulcerative colitis (UC). Enhanced recovery programs (ERP) have shown potential in better outcomes following surgery; however, their perioperative benefits in UC patients undergoing IPAA remain insufficiently investigated.
Methods: This study included UC patients who underwent IPAA between January 2008 and September 2023 across multiple affiliated centers within the China UC Pouch Center Union.

Background: Time in target range (TTR) of systolic blood pressure (SBP) is a concept characterizing the extent of blood pressure (BP) control. We aimed to compare the risk of all-cause mortality and cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) in participants with >50% time of their SBP within different target ranges.
Methods: A total of 40,914 participants who had complete BP data and were free of CVDs or cancer were included.

Accumulated evidence has implicated the diverse and substantial influence of lactate on cellular differentiation and fate regulation in physiological and pathological settings, particularly in intricate conditions such as cancer. Specifically, lactate has been demonstrated to be pivotal in molding the tumor microenvironment (TME) through its effects on different cell populations. Within tumor cells, lactate impacts cell signaling pathways, augments the lactate shuttle process, boosts resistance to oxidative stress, and contributes to lactylation.
