Purpose: To investigate the relationship between dietary antioxidant status and susceptibility of periodontal disease in humans.
Methods: Fifty patients with moderate-to-sever periodontal disease and 50 subjects without periodontal disease were enrolled in this study. Food frequency questionnaire and 72-hour diet recall were conducted to study the dietary pattern and antioxidant nutrients intake in patients and healthy subjects.

Epidermoid cysts are benign lesions commonly seen in the head and neck region. Here, we describe the case of an epidermoid cyst in a 20-year-old man with a history of trauma presenting with a complaint of mass in the right cervical region. Upon closer examination, a 3cm long scar was noticed within the swollen region of the right submandibular area.

Purpose: To establish an effective path to register the operative plan to the real model of mandible made by rapid prototyping (RP) technology.
Methods: Computerize tomography (CT) was performed on 20 patients to create 3D images, and computer aided operation planning information can be merged with the 3D images. Then dental cast was used to fix the signal which can be recognized by the software.

Purpose: To evaluate the role of digital camera in reconstruction of 3-D solid model of the maxillary central incisor.
Methods: Photographs of each section of the maxillary central incisor were taken with digital camera, then the 3-D model was reconstructed with photoshop software and 3DMAX software.
Results: The precise 3-D solid model of the maxillary central incisor was successfully reconstructed.
