The emergence of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has become a worldwide pandemic after its first outbreak in Wuhan, China. However, it remains unclear whether COVID-19 death is linked to ambient air pollutants or meteorological conditions. We collected the daily COVID-19 death number, air quality index (AQI), ambient air pollutant concentrations, and meteorological variables data of Wuhan between Jan 25 and April 7, 2020.

Objectives: Although COVID-19 is known to be caused by human-to-human transmission, it remains largely unclear whether ambient air pollutants and meteorological parameters could promote its transmission.

Methods: A retrospective study was conducted to study whether air quality index (AQI), four ambient air pollutants (PM, PM, NO and CO) and five meteorological variables (daily temperature, highest temperature, lowest temperature, temperature difference and sunshine duration) could increase COVID-19 incidence in Wuhan and XiaoGan between Jan 26th to Feb 29th in 2020.

Results: First, a significant correlation was found between COVID-19 incidence and AQI in both Wuhan (R=0.

Object: The intraoperative fluoroscopy has been widely used in modern neuro-spinal surgery due to the overwhelming trend toward minimal-access surgery. However, both patients and surgical personnel were under ionizing-radiation exposure during fluoroscopy usage. Since the fluoroscopy constitutes the vast majority of radiation exposure for both surgeons and patients, the development and improvement of new interventional possibilities are of great importance and interests.

Background: It has been widely understood that well-trained doctors are crucial for a high-quality public health system and safe patient care. Thus, in 2011, China initiated its first national residency training program, called the China Standardized Training for Resident Doctor (C-STRD), for medical graduates to prepare qualified doctors for the medical care system with increasing demands. So far, no studies have specifically address the prevalence of stress and its determinants among residents enrolled in the C-STRD.

Objective: Delayed neurological deficit was often observed in patients underwent craniectomy, which could be improved by cranioplasty. Little is known about hemodynamic improvement before and after cranioplasty.

Methods: Cerebral blood perfusion, tympanic membrane temperature (TMT), neuropsychological and cognitive function were assessed in eleven craniectomy patients before and after cranioplasty.

Introduction: The refractory post-operative diaphyseal femur fracture (DFF) non-union is extremely difficult to treat and remains severe challenges for orthopedists. Although several traditional internal fixations and novel biomedical techniques have been used in managing this complication, its treatment is still fraught with severe challenges.

Patients And Methods: Starting from 1999, 5 patients after three previous internal fixation operations showing refractory DFF non-union underwent the comprehensive fibular autograft with double metal locking plates fixation (cFALP) surgery.

Introduction: The cranioplasty is a classical surgical procedure to repair large skull defects. The prosthesis fracture was one rare complication following cranioplasty, which was only known to happen in traumatic head injury or child growing skull.

Presentation Of Case: In the current report, we documented the first reported case of cranioplasty prosthesis fracture in an adult neurological trauma patient at the proximal pterion point region without head trauma.
