Background: Nursing interns often experience lots of challenges during their clinical nursing internships, which can adversely affect career decisions and result in a squandering of nursing education resources. Patient safety attitudes, professional identity and climate of caring may affect nursing interns' clinical experience. However, more evidence is requested to validate these relationships for nursing educators to develop effective education programs and facilitate interns' successful transition.

Acute lung injury (ALI) remains a high mortality rate with dramatic lung inflammation and alveolar epithelial cell death. Although fatty acid β-oxidation (FAO) impairment has been implicated in the pathogenesis of ALI, whether Carnitine palmitoyltransferase 1A (CPT1A), the rate-limiting enzyme for FAO, plays roles in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced ALI remains unclear. Accordingly, we focused on exploring the effect of CPT1A in the context of ALI and the underlying mechanisms.

Objective: The present study aimed to investigate the effects of blood flow restriction training on muscle strength, bone tissue structure material, and biomechanical properties in rats applying various exercise interventions and to analyze the process by identifying the bone turnover markers, it provides a theoretical basis for the application of BFRT in clinical rehabilitation.
Methods: A total of 24, 3-month-old male SD (Sprague Dawley) rats were randomly divided into pressurized control group (CON, n=6), low-intensity training group (LIRT, n=6), high-intensity training group (HIRT, n=6), and blood flow restriction training group (LIBFR, n=6) for 8-week ladder-climbing exercises. The pressured control group were given only ischemia treatments and did not undertake any burden.

An effective biosensing platform is described based on halloysite nanotube/carbon composite decorated with Pd nanoparticles (HNT/C@Pd NPs). A novel electrochemical aptasensor was designed using the proposed nano-platform to determine human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2), a breast cancer biomarker. Inherently, aptasensing interfaces provide high sensitivity and selectivity for tumor markers owing to the high specific surface area of HNT/C and good conductivity stems from deposition of Pd NPs into HNT/C composite.

In order to reduce the digestion rate of starch in human body and improve the content of slowly digestible starch (SDS) and resistant starch (RS), millimeter calcium alginate beads encapsulated with different proportions of recrystallized starch were constructed in this study. First, we prepared recrystallized starch (RS3) by debranching waxy corn starch and retrogradation, and then encapsulated RS3 in calcium alginate beads by the ionic gel method. The microstructure of the beads was observed by scanning electron microscope, and the gel texture properties, swelling properties, and in vitro digestibility of the beads were studied.

Background And Objective: An in-depth understanding of what constitutes a good death among patients with cancer is vital to providing patient-centred palliative care. This review aimed to synthesise evidence on the perceptions of a good death among patients with cancer.
Methods: This systematic review involved a synthesis of qualitative data.
Aim: The study aimed to translate and adapt the traditional Chinese Food Allergy Quality of Life-Parental Burden Questionnaire (TC-FAQL-PB) into simplified Chinese language and determine the validity and reliability of the translated version.
Design: A methodologic study design involving instrument translation and psychometric evaluation was used for the present study.
Methods: The simplified Chinese FAQL-PB (SC-FAQL-PB) was developed following Guillemin's guidelines for cross-cultural adaptation.

Aim: This theory-guided scoping review aims to provide an overview of existing literature about academic-practice partnerships in evidence-based nursing education.
Background: Academic-practice partnership is an approach to improve evidence-based nursing education, to promote evidence-based nursing practice which could reduce the nursing care discrepancy, improve the nursing care quality and patient safety, reduce healthcare costs and promote nursing professional development. However, the related research is limited and there is a lack of systematic review of related literature.

Music therapy is a common method to relieve anxiety and pain in cancer patients after surgery in recent years, but due to the lack of technical and algorithmic support, this therapy is not particularly stable and the therapeutic effect is not good. In this study, a neural network robotic system based on breast cancer patients was designed to analyze the effect of music relaxation training on alleviating adverse reactions after chemotherapy in breast cancer patients. Firstly, this paper introduces the necessity of neural network robot system research under the background of music therapy, and then summarizes the positive effect of music relaxation therapy on alleviating adverse reactions after chemotherapy in breast cancer patients, finally, uses neural network robot system to construct music therapy system.

E-commerce in agri-business enterprises is a potent force in eradicating rural poverty in China. However, it has not reached its potential as many of the agri-business enterprises in rural areas are slow in re-thinking their distribution channel and implementing e-commerce. This study utilizes the multidimensionality of the Tornatsky and Fleisher Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) framework to provide insights into why rural agri-business enterprises are not adopting e-commerce strategies.

The purpose of this study was 2-fold: to validate the Private Kindergarten Teachers' Intention of Remaining (PKTIR) Questionnaire and the Factors of Teachers' Intention of Remaining (FTIR) Questionnaire, and to comparative study to explore the effects of organizational and individual psychological factors in China. A total of 22 experts were recruited to modify and validate both questionnaires. The results showed that both questionnaires had instruments that are reliable and valid.

Prior studies have demonstrated a close association between brain insulin resistance and Alzheimer's disease (AD), while selenium supplementation was shown to improve insulin homeostasis in AD patients and to exert neuroprotective effects in a mouse model of AD. However, the mechanisms underlying the neuroprotective actions of selenium remain incompletely understood. In this study, we performed a label-free liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) quantitative proteomics approach to analyze differentially expressed proteins (DEPs) in the hippocampus and cerebral cortex of Aβ precursor protein (APP)/presenilin-1 (PS1) mice following 2 months of treatment with sodium selenate.

Background: It has been shown that vitrified-warmed oocytes exhibit autophagic activation. However, its regulatory molecular mechanism of autophagy needs to be clarified.
Objective: To determine the role of signaling pathway of PI3K/Akt/mTOR in the regulation of autophagy in oocytes during vitrification-warming and IVM.
Background: It has been reported that paternal folic acid deficiency is correlated with male infertility and increased birth defects in the offspring. However, there are few data concerning the influence of folic acid supplementation on male-factor infertility with MTHFR gene polymorphisms.
Objectives: To evaluate whether folic acid supplementation has a beneficial effect on oligozoospermia with MTHFR gene polymorphisms in Chinese infertility population.
