Efficacy and safety of Tuina and intermediate frequency electrotherapy for frozen shoulder: MRI-based observation evidence.

Background: Tuina and Intermediate Frequency (IF) electrotherapy are commonly used treatments for frozen shoulder (FS). This study aimed to compare the clinical efficacy of Tuina and IF electrotherapy in the treatment of stage II frozen shoulder and to provide evidence-based treatment for FS.

Methods: The FS patients were randomized into two groups, the observation group, which received Tuina, and the control group, which received IF electrotherapy.

A bioinformatics approach to identifying the biomarkers and pathogenesis of major depressive disorder combined with acute myocardial infarction.

This study investigated the pathogenesis of major depressive disorder (MDD) and acute myocardial infarction (AMI) using bioinformatics. We analyzed MDD and AMI (MDD-AMI) datasets provided by the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database for genes common to MDD and AMI using GEO2R and weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA). We also performed Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) enrichment analyses, and we used Disease Ontology (DO) analysis to identify a) the pathways through which genes function and b) comorbidities.

Effect of the ratios of estradiol increase on the outcome of in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer with antagonist regimens: a single center retrospective cohort study.

Background: The outcome of in vitro fertilization-embryo transfer (IVF) is often determined according to follicle and estradiol levels following gonadotropin stimulation. In previous studies, although most of them analyzed the estrogen level from ovaries or the average estrogen level of a single follicle, there was no study on the ratio of estrogen increase, which was also correlated with pregnancy outcomes in the clinic. This study aimed to make timely adjustments to follow-up medication to improve clinical outcomes based on the potential value of estradiol growth rate.
