A hyalinizing trabecular tumor (HTT), characterized by a trabecular growth pattern and notable hyalinization within the trabeculae, occurs at a rate of ~1%. As patients with HTT may be asymptomatic, accurate diagnosis is a challenge. Due to its resemblance to other tumors, such as papillary thyroid carcinoma and medullary thyroid carcinoma, a precise diagnosis necessitates both pathological and molecular examinations.

Objectives: To identify a key Long chain non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) related to PD and provide a new perspective on the role of LncRNAs in Parkinson's disease (PD) pathophysiology.
Methods: Our study involved analyzing gene chips from the substantia nigra and white blood cells, both normal and PD-inclusive, in the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database, utilizing a weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA). The technique of WGCNA facilitated the examination of differentially expressed genes (DEGs) in the substantia nigra and the white blood cells of individuals with PD.

The forkhead box O1 (FOXO1), the first discovered member of the FoxO family, is a critical transcription factor predominantly found in insulin-secreting and insulin-sensitive tissues. In the pancreas of adults, FoxO1 expression is restricted to islet β cells. We determined that in human islet microarray datasets, FoxO1 expression is higher than other FoxO transcription factors.

Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the most common cancers worldwide. With the growing understanding of immune regulation in tumors, the complement system has been recognized as a key regulator of tumor immunity. Traditionally, the complement cascade, considered an evolutionarily conserved defense mechanism against invading pathogens, has been viewed as a crucial inhibitor of tumor progression.

To prevent the overaggressive treatment of axillary lymph nodes (ALNs) in breast cancer, it is necessary to develop a convenient analysis method that accurately and comprehensively reflects whether ALNs are metastatic or nonmetastatic. We retrospectively analyzed data from patients who underwent surgery for breast cancer at the Weifang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine between January 2019 and June 2023. Binary logistic regression analysis was used to predict the metastasis status of ALNs.

Programmed Death Protein-1 (PD-1) is a cell surface receptor that serves as a checkpoint for T cells, playing a pivotal role in regulating T-cell apoptosis. The binding of PD-1 to its ligand, Programmed Death Ligand 1 (PD-L1), inhibits anti-tumor immunity by suppressing T-cell activation signals. Indeed, the PD-1/PD-L1 pathway governs the induction and maintenance of immune tolerance within the tumor microenvironment.

Purpose: The aim of our report was to recognize bladder cancer (BC)-specific serum exosome-derived long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) profile for early diagnosis of BC.
Methods: Potential BC-specific exosomal lncRNA indicators were discerned by genome-wide microarray profiling analysis of serum exosomes from 10 healthy participants and 10 early stage BC patients (Ta and T1), followed by multi-stage validation through quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) in BC cells, culture solution as well as 200 serum specimens and 50 tissue specimens from non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) patients. The diagnostic panel was established using logistic regression and evaluated by receiver-operating characteristic (ROC) curve.
