Objective: To explore the application of multiparametric MRI-based radiomic nomogram for assessing HER-2 2+ status of breast cancer (BC).
Methods: Patients with pathology-proven HER-2 2+ invasive BC, who underwent preoperative MRI were divided into training (72 patients, 21 HER-2-positive and 51 HER-2-negative) and validation (32 patients, 9 HER-2-positive and 23 HER-2-negative) sets by randomization. All were classified as HER-2 2+ FISH-positive (HER-2-positive) or -negative (HER-2-negative) according to IHC and FISH.
Background: Spinal metastasis and multiple myeloma share many overlapping conventional radiographic imaging characteristics, thus, their differentiation may be challenging. The purpose of this study was to develop and validate an MRI-based radiomics nomogram for the differentiation of spinal metastasis and multiple myeloma.
Materials And Methods: A total of 312 patients (training set: n = 146, validation set: n = 65, our center; external test set: n = 101, two other centers) with spinal metastasis (n = 196) and multiple myeloma (n = 116) were retrospectively enrolled.

Background: Intraplaque hemorrhage (IPH), one of the key features of vulnerable plaques, has been shown to be associated with increased risk of stroke. The aim is to develop and validate a CT-based radiomics nomogram incorporating clinical factors and radiomics signature for the detection of IPH in carotid arteries.
Methods: This retrospective study analyzed the patients with carotid plaques on CTA from January 2013 to January 2021 at two different institutions.

Since xenografts offer a wide range of incomparable advantages, they can be a better option than allografts but only if the possibility of immunological rejection can be eliminated. In this study, we investigated the ability of α1,3-galactosyltransferase (α1,3-GT) gene knockout (GTKO) pig cancellous bone to promote the repair of a femoral condyle bone defect and its influence on heterologous immune rejection. Cylindrical bone defects created in a rhesus monkey model were transplanted with GTKO bone, WT bone or left empty.

Background And Purpose: Trigeminal neuralgia is a common condition that is associated with severe pain, which seriously affects the quality of life of patients. When the efficacy of drugs is not satisfactory or adverse drug reactions cannot be tolerated, minimally invasive interventional therapy has become an important treatment because of its simple operation, low risk, high repeatability and low cost. In recent years, minimally invasive interventional treatments, such as radiofrequency thermocoagulation (RF) of the trigeminal nerve and percutaneous microcompression (PMC), have been widely used in the clinic to relieve severe pain in many patients, however, some related problems remain to be addressed.

Background: Perivascular fat attenuation index is considered a sensitive biomarker of vulnerable coronary plaques. However, its application in studying the carotid artery are unknown.
Purpose: This study aimed to explore the association between cerebrovascular symptoms and carotid attenuation density of perivascular adipose tissue (PVAT) on computed tomography angiography (CTA).

Objectives: To explore the associations between higher antibiotic use rates (AURs) and adverse outcomes in very-low-birth-weight (VLBW) infants without culture-proven sepsis or necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC) in a multicenter of China.
Methods: A prospective cohort study was performed on VLBW infants admitted to 24 neonatal intensive care units from January 1, 2018, to December 31, 2018. AUR was calculated as calendar days of antibiotic therapy divided by total hospital days.

Perivascular adipose tissue plays a key role in atherosclerosis, but its effects on the composition of carotid atherosclerotic plaques are unknown. This study aimed to investigate the association between inflammatory carotid artery and intraplaque hemorrhage (IPH) in the carotid artery. This is a single-center retrospective study.

Background: Immunoglobulin G4-related disease (IgG4-RD) is an immune mediated fibro inflammatory condition characterized by abundant IgG4-positive (IgG4+) plasma cell infiltrated lesions and elevated serum IgG4 concentrations. Tubulointerstitial nephritis and glomerular lesions are the most common renal IgG4-RDs. However, solitary mass lesion is rarely observed in renal IgG4-RD.

The aim of this study was to investigate the image quality and radiation dose of different scanning protocols in dual-source CT cardiothoracic angiography for children with tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). Seventy-five consecutive children with known or suspected TOF were enrolled to undergo prospective ECG-triggering sequential dual-source CT (DSCT) cardiothoracic angiography. According to the scanning protocols, these patients were randomly divided into 3 groups: fixed delay time (FDT, n = 25, group A), automatic bolus-tracking (ABT, n = 25, group B) and manual bolus-tracking (MBT, n = 25, group C).
