Field-effect transistor (FET)-based biosensors not only enable label-free detection by measuring the intrinsic charges of biomolecules, but also offer advantages such as high sensitivity, rapid response, and ease of integration. This enables them to play a significant role in disease diagnosis, point-of-care detection, and drug screening, among other applications. However, when FET sensors detect biomolecules in physiological solutions (such as whole blood, serum, ), the charged molecules will be surrounded by oppositely charged ions in the solution.

This study examines the impact of high-pressure torsion (HPT) processing at various temperatures on the precipitation behavior of Cu-Cr alloys. The introduction of defects through HPT is observed to promote the precipitation of Cr atoms. Unlike the traditional large-scale precipitation that typically occurs around 400 °C, HPT can induce the precipitation of solute atoms even at room temperature.

To improve the wear resistance of the materials used for blades in engineering machinery, this study focused on the microstructural characteristics, mechanical properties, and wear behavior of HB500 grade wear-resistant steel developed using an optimized heat treatment system. To improve the temperature uniformity of the heat treatment furnace, the method of cyclic heating was used to heat the components. Carefully designing the quenching equipment, such as using a cross-shaped press, was employed to enhance the quenching effect and reduce the deformation of the steel plates.

In this article, an L-shaped three-dimensional (3D) braided piezoelectric composite energy harvester (BPCEH) is established, which consists of an elastic layer composed of a 3D braided composite, flanked by upper and lower layers of piezoelectric material and two tuning mass blocks. Glass fiber and epoxy resin are used to produce a 3D braided composite. This L-shaped 3D BPCEH is mechanically designable and can be adapted to different work requirements by varying the braided angle of the 3D braided composite layer.

Particle reinforced metal matrix composite (PRMMCs) has a complex mesoscopic structure, and the addition of particles can strengthen the metal matrix, which makes the deformation and failure behavior of PRMMCs under load very complicated. The finite element method can quantitatively describe the effect of PRMMCs microstructure parameters on the macroscopic properties of materials, but the key is to establish a representative volume element(RVE) model that can reflect the real mechanical properties of materials. This paper reports and discusses on the construction methods of the RVE model of PRMMCs from three aspects: the geometric modeling of PRMMCs microstructure, the construction of the matrix constitutive equation based on PRMMCs reinforcement mechanism and the interface module.
