In this work, heart-cutting two-dimensional ultrahigh-performance liquid chromatography (2D-UHPLC) in combination with high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) was used, setting HRMS as positive mode of electrospray ionization to identify five impurities in pioglitazone hydrochloride preparations. With the heart-cutting 2D-UHPLC and online desalting technique, the structures of five impurities were deduced in an analysis of MS data.

A novel analytical method based on nanofiber-packed solid-phase extraction (PFSPE) combined with HPLC-FLD has been successfully developed and applied to determine aflatoxin B1, B2, G1, G2 in foods. In order to effectively adsorb analytes from complex food matrices, four types of nanofibers based on skeleton of polystyrene-polyvinyl pyrrolidone were prepared by electrospinning and applied as adsorbent to home-made solid-phase extraction device. The effects of type of nanofibers, pH of sample, type and concentration of salt ion, type of activation solvent, type and volume of eluent, amount of nanofibers, and extraction time on the adsorption/desorption were investigated and optimized.

The simultaneous detection of multiple residues of pyrethroid pesticides (PPs) on vegetables and fruits is still challenging using traditional nanosensing methods due to the high structural similarity of PPs. In this work, sensor arrays composed of three nanocomposite complexes (rhodamine B-CD@Au, rhodamine 6G-CD@Au, and coumarin 6-CD@Au) were constructed to discriminate between structurally similar PPs. Four PPs, deltamethrin, fenvalerate, cyfluthrin, and fenpropathrin, were successfully discriminated.

This study aimed to combine the active targeting function of folate (FA) receptor-mediated endocytosis with the pH-responsive drug delivery of poly (ethylene glycol)-grafted-poly (-amino ester) copolymers (PEG-PAE) in cancer targeting therapy. Herein, the palladium-catalyzed double C-N coupling of 9-carbazol-9-amines and 2,2'-dibromo-1,1'-biphenyl is reported. This protocol offers access to ,'-bicarbazole scaffolds, which have frequently been used as linkers in the construction of functional covalent organic frameworks (COFs). A variety of substituted ,'-bicarbazoles were synthesized in moderate to high yields based on this chemistry, and the potential application of this method was showcased by the synthesis of COF monomers like tetrabromide and tetraalkynylate .
