The solid phase composition in oily sludge (OS) is a key factor affecting the oil-solid separation of OS. In this paper, the effects and mechanisms of solid-phase particle factors on the oil content of residue phase were investigated in order to improve the oil-solid separation efficiency. Nitrogen (N) deposition from human activities leads to an imbalance in the N and phosphorus (P) ratios of natural ecosystems, which has a series of negative impacts on ecosystems. In this study, we used 16s rRNA sequencing technology to investigate the effect of the N-P supply ratio on the bulk soil (BS) and rhizosphere soil (RS) bacterial community of halophytes in coastal wetlands through manipulated field experiments. Recent advancements in the field of plant-pathogen interactions have spotlighted the role of extracellular vesicles (EVs) as pivotal mediators of cross-kingdom communication, offering new vistas for enhancing crop protection strategies. EVs are instrumental in the transport of small regulatory RNAs (sRNAs) and other bioactive molecules across species boundaries, thus playing a critical role in the molecular warfare between plants and pathogens. This review elucidates the sophisticated mechanisms by which plants utilize EVs to dispatch sRNAs that silence pathogenic genes, fortifying defenses against microbial threats.

Aiming at the problems of collapse, deformation, and displacement in the concrete paving of roadway floors, this paper adopts the way of adding alkali-free accelerators to the concrete on both sides, through mechanical analysis, single factor experiment, orthogonal experiment, and polynomial fitting method, and determines the relevant parameters of concrete and accelerators in the sliding form paving of roadway floor from two aspects of paving material and size. The results show that the FSA-AF alkali-free liquid accelerator is more suitable for roadway floor paving than the J85 powder accelerator. When the FSA-AF accelerator dosage reaches 8%, the decreasing trend of initial setting time curve tends to be flat.

Nitrogen-doped graphene quantum dots (N-GQDs) are widely used in biosensing, catalysis, and energy storage due to their excellent conductivity, high specific surface area, unique quantum size effects, and optical properties. In this paper, we successfully synthesized N-GQDs using a facile hydrothermal approach and investigated the effects of different hydrothermal temperatures and times on the morphology and structure of N-GQDs. The results indicated that the size of N-GQDs gradually increased and they eventually aggregated into graphene fragments with increasing temperature or reaction time.

The quantum Zeno effect (QZE) is widely employed in quantum engineering due to the issue of frequent measurements freezing a quantum system. In this study, the quantum Zeno factor is introduced to characterize the quantum Zeno capacity of a quantum system. The quantum Zeno factor reveals that the quantum Zeno effect is dependent on the evolution mode of quantum states, which is semi-irrelevant to conventional energy uncertainty and extends the QZE domain.
