Syringocystadenoma papilliferum is a rare benign adnexal tumor that originates from the apocrine and eccrine glands. It mainly manifests as a solitary lesion in the head and neck; however, rarely, it may involve the trunk and limbs, typically with a linear pattern. Here, we report an extremely rare case of congenital linear syringocystadenoma papilliferum on the left buttock near the anus in a 6-year-old girl.

Globally, prostate cancer (PC) is leading cause of cancer-related mortality in men worldwide. Despite significant advances in the treatment and management of this disease, the cure rates for PC remains low, largely due to late detection. PC detection is mostly reliant on prostate-specific antigen (PSA) and digital rectal examination (DRE); however, due to the low positive predictive value of current diagnostics, there is an urgent need to identify new accurate biomarkers.

Objective: To investigate whether endometrial thickness and endometrial blood flow on the day of hCG administration is a predictor of intrauterine insemination (IUI) success.
Method: A cross-sectional prospective clinical study with simple randomized sampling; Patient: 100 women experiencing the IUI cycle; Interventions: a comparison was made between pregnant and non-pregnant patients in terms of the endometrial thickness and pattern as well as the color Doppler flow on the day of hCG administration and also cycle parameters. Main outcome measures: endometrial thickness and patterns as well as the blood flow in color Doppler.

Current study determined the overall incidence, common causes as well as main predictors of this final diagnosis among neonates admitted to a rural district hospital in Iran. This study was conducted on 699 neonates who were candidate for admission to the NICU. Study population was categorized in the case group, including patients exposed to final diagnosis of neonatal seizures and the control group without this diagnosis.
