Quantitative real-time PCR analysis of gut microbiota in rheumatoid arthritis patients compared to healthy controls.

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disorder with synovial inflammation of joints and extra articular manifestations. The results of recent researches consider the relationship between microbiota and the immune system as a double-edged sword. Considering that the relationship between the composition of intestinal microbiota and the immunological and clinical status of the body has been confirmed, it is very important to investigate the effect of each genus and species of bacteria on the state of the immune system.

The effect of spouses' educational classes held for primiparous women referring to Hajar hospital on their quality of life and pregnancy outcomes.

Background: With regard to the importance of quality of life in pregnant women, the present study aimed to determine the effect of spouses' educational classes held for primaparous women referring to Hajar hospital on women's quality of life and pregnancy outcomes.

Materials And Methods: This clinical trial was conducted from September 2011 to June 2012 in the clinic of the Hajar university center in Shahrekord. Eligible primiparous women who registered for physiologic delivery educational classes were randomly assigned to study (n = 31) and control (n = 27) groups.
